Sonam Kapoor is a fashionista and her hubby is the founder of a leading clothing brand, Bhaane and together they surely make an unbeatable combination. Sonam had surprised all her fans when she had gotten married to the love of her life, Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018. Ever since their marriage, the couple has been giving major marriage goals with their adorable PDAs and cutesy pictures. It is very interesting to note that even after being in a long-distance marriage, the 'oh-so-lovely' couple leaves no single opportunity to travel miles for each other.
On January 28, 2020, Sonam took to her Instagram handle and shared an ‘off the camera’ moment with her husband, Anand. The duo looked adorable in the candid picture, where Anand was seen giving a peck to his lovely wife, Sonam. Along with the picture, Sonam wrote, “Yeah, you got that something, I think you’ll understand. Then I’ll say that something, I wanna hold your hand. I wanna hold your hand.” It was Anand’s comment on the picture which was unmissable. He wrote, “But this was supposed to be an “off the camera” moment @vaishnavpraveen ! You got me looking like I’m taking prom photos before a basketball game. Can we please see some photos where I have some “bad boys for life” swag @sonamkapoor ?! #kthanksbye.”
The couple often posts cute messages for each other and their Instagram feeds often give us a glimpse of the two miss each other’s company due to their long-distance marriage. In an interview with the Filmfare, Anand Ahuja had shared how they make their long-distance marriage work. He had revealed, “When it comes to marriage, small things matter a lot. We eat meals together, even if we are in different time zones, on Skype. Sonam was at peak of her career when she had tied the knot with Anand. In an interview with the DNA, she had opened up on the same and had revealed that marriage has nothing to do with her professional commitments. She quoted examples of Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Nargis, Nutan and other married actresses, who had continued their career post-marriage. She had also said that she wanted to set an example for others.
In an interview with the Vogue magazine, Sonam had talked about her love story with Anand and had quipped, “He makes clothes—and I wear them!” She had further added, “He comes from a business background, so that’s alien to me. I’m the third generation in a film family. So there’s a lot to talk about, a lot to discover about each other, but we have a lot of similarities.” Sonam had also shared the qualities of her husband and had said, “He’s non-judgemental—with everybody. Very open-minded and progressive.
