Elder daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor was born to shine. Being born into a family of stars, Sonam followed her dreams and entered Bollywood. While scrolling through our social media feed, we got our hands on a throwback interview, where Sonam was seen having a chat with Rajkummar Rao. However, it was Sonam’s arrogance with Rajkummar that irked the netizens. The video begins with Sonam asking Raj, "Why do I have to start since I am a senior actor here." And then, from commenting on Rajkummar’s background to dropping names of popular directors to self-glorification, Sonam was full of herself throughout the interview.

As soon as the video was shared on social media, netizens couldn’t help but call out the actress for not just being rude to the then newcomer, Rajkummar but also glorifying herself. Not just this, people also lauded Rajkummar Rao for his patience. The actress got mercilessly trolled as one of the users wrote, “Does she ever listen to her own interviews or just keeps talking”, while another one commented, “That's why she is jobless and Raj has become one of the most sought-after actors of the Hindi Film Industry.”

This is not the first time when Sonam Kapoor garnered the limelight for her controversial statements. After the release of her debut film, Sonam’s name was linked to actor, Ranbir Kapoor. When the actress was asked to respond about the same in an interview, pat came the reply:
“Ranbir is not boyfriend material. Are girls liking him, really? Ranbir is not sexy at all. He is Mama’s Boy, whose toenails are also cut by the mother.”
When author Shobha De criticized Sonam Kapoor’s film, I Hate Love Story and suggested a new title, ‘I Hate Dumb Stories’ and also called Sonam “a lassie who lacks oomph”, the actress didn’t let go of the attack. Responding to Shobha's comment, Sonam tweeted:
“Guys please don’t take Shobhaa De seriously. She’s a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause.”
On the personal front, Sonam Kapoor is married to London-based businessman, Anand Ahuja and the couple is parents to a baby boy, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
