In a heartwarming twist, the musical trio reunited during their parents' wedding anniversary celebration, leaving fans relieved and elated. After being seen posing arm-in-arm with the family, Sonu posted a short yet powerful note on her social media.

Sonu Kakkar officially buries the hatchet after family reunion

On May 17, 2025, Neha Kakkar shared a series of glowing family portraits from the celebration, showing Sonu standing arm-in-arm with the family, including her brother, Tony and husband, Rohanpreet Singh. Neha shared glimpses from the evening with the caption, “What a night!!!!!”. Sonu sweetly responded in the comments by reaffirming it with a simple “Indeed”, followed by a red heart emoji.

A few hours after Neha Kakkar’s post, Sonu took to her own Instagram handle and shared a short yet powerful note on love. Taking to her IG Stories, Sonu posted a note that seems to be her official acknowledgement of burying the hatchet with her brother and sister. Sonu’s note can be read as:

“Love is the answer.”

Given that there was no context or any photo in the Story, the timing of Sonu's post, just hours after publicly acknowledging that she had a great time with her family in Neha’s post, it looks like the singer has officially reconciled with her siblings.

The buzz surrounding the Kakkar family drama took over social media on April 12, 2025, after Sonu Kakkar left an explosive note on her X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram handles. In the now-deleted post, Sonu made a shocking announcement, claiming that she no longer considered herself the sister of Neha and Tony Kakkar. Her post read:

The tattoo, meant as a birthday present for Tony, featured a pinky promise with their initials, ‘NK’ and ‘TK’, and seeing it, Tony was left surprised and emotional.
