The duo, who had tied the knot in a grand ceremony in 2019, had unfollowed each other in 2024 and deleted their pictures together which hinted that all was not well in their paradise. Further, Sonyaa's recent social media posts revolved around the themes of healing, emotional strength and solitude, which added fuel to the fire. Now, a new media report has set the record straight over their marriage and relationship.

According to a new media report by the Times Of India, Sonyaa Ayoddhya has officially got divorced from her husband, Harsh Samorre, after five years of marriage. Although the actress has not publicly confirmed the statement, the news report mentioned that their legal separation was finalised in early April 2025. However, it is worth mentioning that neither the actress nor her husband confirmed or denied the speculations.

The rumours about the trouble in Sonyaa's paradise began when fans noticed the couple deleting their posts together and unfollowing each other. Moreover, the couple hasn't made any joint appearances together for a long time now. Particularly, in April 2025, Sonyaa had put up a cryptic post on emotional strength. It mentioned a quote on how a person was asked if he would share his side of a story, but he feels content with the god knowing the truth and replies:

'God knows, and that's enough."

The couple had hosted a grand wedding as per the desire of Sonyaa's family. Her co-star, Shubhaavi Choksey and Erica Fernandes, marked their presence at the occasion. The actress was recently seen in her OTT show, Kill Dill, which was released on March 28, 2025, and also stars Prit Kamani and Anushka Sen.
