Spencer Lofranco, who first got recognition from the 2014 film Jamesy Boy, has passed away at the age of 33. A few hours ago, on November 20, 2025, his brother, Santino, took to his Instagram account and shared a post paying homage to him. As per the post, Spencer had passed away on November 18, 2025. The caption read:

"To the legend @roccowinning. My brother. You lived a life only some could dream of. You changed people lives, and now you are with God. I will always love you and miss you Bear. RIP. October 18, 1992 - November 18, 2025. "

How did Spencer Lofranco die? 

According to TMZ, the cause of death of Spencer Lofranco at the age of 33 is still being investigated. Although it has not been ascertained as to how he died, looking at the comments that have filled up Santino's post on his late brother, points towards a substance addiction issue. People who knew Spencer flooded the comment section with prayers and condolences. They also mentioned that Spencer was trying to clean up and had thought about rehabilitation. 

An Insta user had written in Santino's post announcing Spencer's death, "He was in tears last week wanting to get sober for his mom and dad. It was hitting him hard. RIP. " Another person penned, "I am so sorry for your loss. I was really rooting for him. He was so close to making that change." Many others replied to these comments, agreeing that Spencer was trying to go sober in his last days. Another Insta user wrote:

"Please say his passing isn't true. He said he was taking a break to recover and he would be back. He said he was clean for 5 days on his last live. What about his color number theory? He had plans! I encouraged him to patent his theory. He was such a brilliant but troubled soul. All of us had such hope for his recovery and comeback. If this is true, my deepest condolences to his family. He will surely be missed. I hope he is at peace now. This is so sad. RIP Bearflix."

Spencer Lofranco's life after stepping away from Hollywood 

Spencer Lofranco took a break from Hollywood after finding fame in the 2018 movie Gotti, where he shared the screen with John Travolta. A look at his Instagram account shows that the former actor picked up his paintbrushes, or spray paint more exactly, and was pursuing a career as a street artist. He had even changed his appearance. Spencer had left behind his golden boy look and was covered in tattoos from his forehead to toes.

In his last post, Spencer shared an older photo of himself and said he was going to laser off his face tattoo, then joked that he would start an OnlyFans account. Moreover, Spencer mentioned that the best period was yet to come. The post was shared on November 12, 2025, six days before he passed away.
