Actress, Sreejita De, who is best known for her role as 'Mukta Rathore' in Uttaran, heard wedding bells ring not too long ago. On July 1, 2023, the actress tied the knot with her German boyfriend, Michael Blohm-Pape, in his home country. The couple had celebrated their union in a wedding per Catholic customs, and now nearly a year and a half later, Sreejita and Michael will be celebrating their love once again in a wedding featuring Bengali customs. The pair will engage in a bunch of pre-wedding festivities, including mehendi, haldi, sangeet, and more. And some of the rituals have already begun in full swing.
Sreejita De and Michael Blohm-Pape's exchange of vows as per Bengali customs started today, on November 10, 2024. The festivities began with a gorgeous mehendi ceremony in Goa, and Sreejita took to Instagram with some adorable pictures of the same. Sreejita's caption for the post read:

Sreejita looked drop-dead gorgeous in a golden sequin blouse and a colour-blocked drape skirt with a twist detail at the front. She upped the cool quotient of her outfit with a pair of chic white glasses and a cropped biker jacket featuring a similar embroidery as her skirt. Sreejita accessorised with a pair of stunning earrings featuring red stones and diamonds as well as a statement ring. The actress had her hair done up in a neat, high ponytail. The outfit designed by Pooja Rajpal Jaggi was put together with the accessories to perfectly balance the modern with the traditional.
Michael complemented his wife, Sreejita, in an ivory-hued indo-western kurta and trousers. He added a subtle pop to his outfit with a multi-coloured jacket. Michael also donned a pair of ethnic brown chappals. Like Sreejita, Michael opted for a cool set of shades that brought an air of urban swag to their loved-up photos.
It seems that we can expect Sreejita and Michael's haldi pics to drop any time. Yes, as per a story uploaded by reality TV personality and Sreejita's Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant, Shiv Thakare, the beautiful couple have already had their haldi ceremony. In Shiv's story, the couple were seen posing as a photographer captured their pictures. While the couple was dressed in white ensembles, the majority of those in attendance were wearing yellow-toned outfits to symbolise the haldi celebration. Shiv was also heard teasing the couple not to get too close as the photographer urged them to move nearer each other for the shots.
