Bigg Boss 12 contestant and former cricketer, Sreesanth’s name has always been synonymous with controversies. Be it inside the house or the outside in real-world, the cricketer-turned-actor couldn’t escape the gossipmongers and their big scoops of gossips. Currently, Sreesanth is in a happy zone as the Supreme Court directed BCCI to lift the lifetime ban imposed on the cricketer. He has waited for this to happen for 5 long years, after he was accused of IPL spot-fixing in the year 2013. However, the one person that stood like a rock in all the hard times is his wife, Bhuvneshwari. The couple married each other on December 12, 2013, at Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala.

Sreesanth was all praises for his wife and how she stood with him in all the bad times. In an interaction with SpotboyE, the cricketer and his wife opened about what all they went through. Bhuvneshwari talked about the old time, and said, “I always knew this is the one person I wanted to get married to.”(Also Read: Anisha Padukone Teases Deepika Padukone On Her Wax Statue, Says As If One Of Her Wasn't Enough)
In the same interview, Bhuvneshwari further talked about the times when Sreesanth was accused about the spot-fixing and things were being written in his names. She said, “When media wrote certain things, they are certain times when things do cross through your mind because there are lot of people behind you talking about their family, their to-be-in-laws, their friends, who do get effected by things. And there were lot of bad things written about Sree during those days. You know caught with a call girl and many more. So, these things really do effect my father and asked me about my decision which has come on TV. I said see I know him about a very long time. So, yeah he knows about Sree as long as I know him.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Sreesanth expressed his happiness, and had shared, “The struggle has made me come out stronger and the saying when the going gets tough, the tough gets going has come true for me today. Someone asked me that how will you make your kids understand what you went through. My reply was simple I will just tell them that their dad never gave up even when the world was against him so you should never give up in life no matter how tough the situation is. I just want to send a message across to all the people that no matter how big, small you are or as long as you are walking on the right path and not guilty, it shouldn't bother you.” (You May Also Like: Esha Deol's Lovely Birthday Wish For Big Brother Abhay Deol, Shares An Unseen Throwback Picture)

He also had talked about coming on the fields as-soon-as-possible, and had said, “Now, the real challenge would be to get back on the field. I will just not wait quietly for the BCCI orders, but will also start training hard and sensibly and wait for the right opportunity. I am just staying optimistic and I am sure everything will fall in place. I am no competition to any player, I am 36 years old now and now I am not the same superstar bowler, but one thing I know is that if Leander Paes can win Grand Slam at the age of 42-44 why can't Sreesanth play for the country and do really well. I am hopeful that I will get a chance to play cricket atleast for a cricket league or some tournament. I want to see my daughter, son and especially my wife wearing Sreesanth 26 jersey and cheering for me in the stadium with my mom and dad. It will be the happiest day of my life. I have waited for a long time, 6 years and now want to start playing as soon as possible.” (Don't Miss: Ranbir Kapoor's Ex, Katrina Kaif Wishes His Current GF, Alia Bhatt On Her Birthday With New Nickname)
