Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying passionate moments, engulfed in cricket mania like the rest of the country. Well, being the proud owner of the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders, the actor is frequently seen at the stands of various stadiums, wherein he cheers wholeheartedly to the playing 11 from his team. Moreover, SRK reflects sheer sportsmanship, since he never forgets to congratulate the opponent team when they win from KKR, or even when they lose out on a match. And now, it seems that his youngest son, AbRam Khan, has also followed his footsteps in enjoying the cricket fever.

The official IG handle of the Kolkata Knight Riders recently dropped a clip of Shah Rukh Khan, as he arrived at his team’s home ground of Eden Gardens in Kolkata, for KKR’s match against the Punjab Kings. They were even joined by the actor’s manager, Pooja Dadlani. The father-son duo could be seen cheering for their team from across the stands, it indeed was a wholesome moment to capture. While SRK donned his team’s purple jersey, AbRam looked smart in a black and white-printed sweatshirt, paired with black trousers.

AbRam jumps in excitement as KKR wins a score, blows whistle

In yet another glimpse of the father-son duo’s presence in Eden Garden for KKR’s match, Shah Rukh and AbRam could be seen standing with a tensed face, as they minutely watched the game of their players, while constantly cheering for them. Moreover, in a few minutes, as KKR scored a point, SRK could be seen raising his hands over his head and clapping loudly. However, it was AbRam who stole the moment, as he not only jumped in excitement, but also couldn’t stop himself from blowing a loud whistle.

Shah Rukh Khan gave an endearing speech for his team, after KKR lost a match against RR

Previously, during the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders lost the match against Rajasthan Royals, despite holding onto the game till the very last minute. Later on, Shah Rukh Khan personally gave a visit to the playing 11 of his team at the dressing room, once the match was over. Without being upset, the actor chose to cheer up his team and congratulated them for their earnest efforts nevertheless. Moreover, he assured everyone that their team would win. In a clip of his speech that surfaced on the internet, he could be heard as saying:

“Please don’t feel sad or down. Feel as happy as we feel whenever we come to the changing room and we are on a high. So maintain the high. The main thing is the energy in all of us. And I think we have great energy on the field, we have lovely energy over here. Personally also, everybody is bonding together. So please continue so. All the best. Honestly, it’s a very proud day, the way we all played. I think all of us, I wont take individual names, that’s been taken.”

When Shah Rukh Khan revealed how his kids reacts to his films

For the unversed, SRK is blessed with three kids, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. In one of his revelations while attending an event in Dubai, Shah Rukh had revealed an interesting reaction that he gets from his kids for every film of his. The actor said:

“Mera bacha hai 26 saal ka, bacha kya ab toh ghoda ho gaya hai woh. Mere beti hai 23 saal ki, aur mera ek aur beta hai 10 saal ka. I didn’t realise that so many years have passed, I have worked in films for 34 years now, and there are days when I tell my children come watch my films. Earlier, when I used to show them my films, they were nice but later on they started saying, ‘Papa how is your hair…look at the way you look.’ So, I became awkward.”
