Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik has been grabbing the headlines for quite some time now, ever since he got married to Pakistani actress, Sana Javed on January 20, 2024. For the unversed, Shoaib was earlier married to Indian tennis sensation, Sania Mirza, and the duo is blessed with a son, Izhaan. However, for quite some time now, there were frequent rumours about the couple parting their ways. While they didn’t really acknowledge it publicly, Shoaib’s third marriage pictures left everyone in shock. Finally, it was Sania’s sister, Anam, who confirmed the former separating from her ex-husband a few months again.
Recently, an old video of Shah Rukh Khan has grabbed attention, since it featured the ex-couple, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza, from an old award function. The actor can be seen teasing the Pakistani cricketer for getting married to a woman in India, and asked whether there weren’t any woman left for him in his home country. Further, Shah Rukh asked Shoaib if any woman in Pakistan asked him if there was any quality which they didn’t have and Sania had. In response, Shoaib Malik shyly said:
“Koi jawab nahi dia, kyunki jawab jo tha wo saath mein leke jaa raha tha main.”

However, on hearing his response, SRK then made a quirky revelation on-stage about Shoaib Malik, right in the presence of his wife, Sania Mirza. The actor mentioned how at backstage, the cricketer revealed to him telling the women in Pakistan to wait, since he will come back and get married to them as well. SRK said:
“Shoaib ne backstage bataya, maine isse poocha ki sawal tumse poochunga ki jo waha ki ladkiya hai unko tumne kya kaha. Yeh bole ki koi baat nahi, yaar intezaar karo, tumse bhi karlunga. Aisa ussne bola.”
As soon as the old video got resurfaced, it became intensely viral on social media, and within no time, it created a stir amongst countless netizens. Taking to the comment section, several internet users took a note of the video and started expressing their views. The video, that was titled as “Srk predicted future way before” left everyone to think how Shah Rukh Khan could predict Shoaib Malik marrying another celebrity in Pakistan after his marriage with Sania Mirza. While one user penned, “Ek baar Jo Shoaib ne commitment kardi.....phir woh apne aap ki bhi nahi suntan”, another netizen commented, “His answer revealed he just married her cause she is Sania Mirza and she actually loved him.”

In her response, the tennis star clearly mentioned that she and her husband have a happy marriage only because they choose to stay quite far away from one another.

Well, the sudden announcement of Shoaib Malik’s third marriage with Sana Javed, amidst rumours of his divorce with Sania Mirza created a stir on the internet. Since neither of the ex-couple confirmed their separation, the news of Shoaib’s wedding came as a shocker to many. However, ending all speculations, it was Sania’s sister, Anam Mirza, who on the former’s behalf confirmed the ex-couple’s divorce, through a picture note.
