The six-episode crime thriller show, Steal, starring Sophie Turner as 'Zara' has been released on the OTT giant, Amazon Prime Video and it is generating waves on social media. The show, created by Sotiris Nikitas, is making headlines for its climax that flips everything viewers thought they knew. Amid the buzz and praises, read on to understand the ending of the crime thriller, Steal.
The show, Steal, is a six-episodes crime thriller, streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The show begins with 'Zara' (Sophie Turner) having a normal morning. She works at a pension investment firm, Lochmil Capital. Even though she is hungover from last night, she arrives at work and tries to behave normal. She chats normally with her friends, including 'Luke' (Archie Madekwe) and also shows a new intern around the office.

However, things take a chaotic turn when a group of masked and armed men enter the office. They come with the intention to steal a massive amount of money. They force 'Zara' and 'Luke' to help them transfer a huge amount in their account. Under threat, 'Zara' and 'Luke' illegally transfer almost four billion pounds from public pension funds into secret accounts controlled by the robbers. After receiving money, the robbers leave.

This sets the tone of the show as an intense investigation begins on how such a huge crime could happen so easily. 'Detective Chief Inspector Rhys Covac' (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) leads the case. His investigation makes it clear that someone from the company helped in the robbery. On the other hand, 'Zara', who was traumatised, now begins to uncover hidden truths.

Eventually, 'Zara' comes across 'Milo' (Harry Michell), a senior employee, who had recruited 'Luke' and 'Zara' in the company. 'Zara' finds out that 'Milo' was a part of the robbery. Later, he admitted that he chose 'Zara', because it would be easy to blame things on her. However, 'Zara' soon understands that 'Milo' was not the mastermind behind this robbery.

After 'Milo's' confession, the investigation continues. Slowly and gradually, 'Rhys' finds out a disturbing pattern about his partner, 'Darren Yoshida' (Andrew Koji). 'Darren' is a financial crime investigator, who was investigating this case of heist. 'Rhys' notices that 'Darren' had access to all the information that the robbers had used for the heist. 'Rhys' also discovers that 'Darren' had turned down two cases only to be a part of this robbery.

Towards the end of the show, 'Darren' is revealed as the real mastermind behind this robbery. He secretly planned the entire heist using his position and knowledge, while letting others take the risks. Later, 'Zara' and 'Luke' make a deal with the authorities to free them. The series ends with 'Zara' walking away from her old life. Now, she is free, changed and financially secure.
Sophie Turner is a popular British actress, who is best known for her role in the much-loved series, Game of Thrones. Reportedly, she was born in England and grew up in Chesterton. Over the years, she has appeared in projects like Another Me, The Thirteenth Tale, Barely Lethal, X-Men: Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix and more. In her personal life, she was previously married to singer, Joe Jonas. The two share two daughters. However, they parted ways in 2024.
