Stefon Diggs' Paternity Test Proves He Is The Father Of Ex Aileen Lopera's Baby, Model Drops Lawsuit

Stefon Diggs has long been caught up in drama surrounding his personal life. The NFL star was previously reported to be facing a paternity lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Lord Gisselle, a.k.a Aileen Lopera, who claimed he was the father of her daughter. And now, the model's lawyer confirms that Diggs is indeed the father.

DNA test confirms Stefon Diggs is the father of Aileen Lopera's daughter

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, Aileen Lopera filed documents with the court requesting the dismissal of her lawsuit against Stefon Diggs. The model's attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, later confirmed it to Us Weekly, mentioning that “the matter has been resolved". This officially ends the months-long legal battle that played out publicly amid Cardi B's pregnancy with Diggs' baby. 

According to PEOPLE, Aileen first filed the lawsuit in December 2024, seeking to establish paternity and requesting sole custody, reimbursement for pregnancy-related expenses. Court documents accessed by the outlet revealed that Diggs denied the claim and requested a paternity test. The documents clarified that if the claim was confirmed, Diggs and Lopera would share joint custody and be responsible for child-related expenses. Lopera's attorney previously told Us Weekly:

“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles."

Diggs initially responded by saying he was unsure of Lopera's paternity claim and requested a DNA test. However, the latter's attorney revealed in November that he was indeed the father, adding that they hoped he would participate in the child's life and co-parent her with Lopera. Us Weekly quoted the attorney:

“We can confirm that Mr. Diggs is the father. And, we are hopeful that he will meaningfully contribute to the child’s life and coparent with our client who has had to do everything on her own thus far.”

With the lawsuit now dismissed, it remains unclear whether Diggs and Lopera have reached a private arrangement regarding the care of their daughter.

The NFL star is currently dating Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B and welcomed a son in November 2025. However, when Diggs' ex-flame took matters to court, the paternity lawsuit drew massive public attention. It was during the legal row that Cardi announced she was pregnant with Diggs’ child. 

Cardi, who already shares three children, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom, with her ex-husband, Offset, once publicly responded to Lopera's claims that Diggs was her baby's father. The rapper had joked during an Instagram live:

"That's your baby daddy, bitch? That's my baby daddy, too, girl."
