Earlier this year, in 2025, the divorce rumour of 'Hero No. 1' Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, made headlines. The Bollywood couple, Govinda and Sunita, have seen many ups and downs in their married life. Amid their divorce speculations, one video of Sunita Ahuja went viral. In the video, she stated that when their daughter was growing up, Govinda's entry into politics led to party workers visiting their home, which made them decide to live separately.
She also mentioned that at home, they wore casual clothes like shorts, so they decided to set up an office nearby. Lastly, she made it clear that no one can separate Govinda from her. So, as the couple come out stronger in their relationship amid their divorce rumours, let’s take a virtual tour of Govinda and Sunita’s second home in Juhu, which they share with their children.
In an interview with Mashable India, Sunita shared she and her family wanted to keep things minimal and gave more importance to space. There is a small home theatre corner where a big TV and PlayStation have been set up. Sunita shared that they enjoy watching movies and watching Netflix in this corner.
There are cream walls and brown wooden flooring with light fittings. There is a lounge corner where green and brown Italian sofas are set up. In this corner, they sit, have discussions, and play chess and cards. There are presence of many antique pieces set up in this corner.
There are vintage-style hanging lamps that give an English-style vibe. Sunita shared that all the furniture is imported and Italian furniture. There are lamps set up according to the colour palette of the sofas on each wall.

Govinda and Sunita’s house has a bar corner. There is a beautiful blue wooden bar with shelves. Sunita shared that her son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, put forward the design idea for the bar. She also mentioned that whenever guests come over, they are given full liberty to enjoy the drinks put up in the bar area.
Sunday is the cheat day for Sunita and her family. She believes that to live life fully, one must enjoy it at least once a week. So, on Sundays, Sunita and her family enjoy Punjabi foods like Sarson da Saag, Makki di Roti, Gajar ka Halwa, and Palak Paneer. Sometimes they enjoy Nepali foods like momos. Sunita shared that Govinda is a big foodie, and thus, she loves making tasty food.
In the interview with Mashable India, Sunita shared that the balcony space is entirely reserved for performing pujas. They have tulsi plants and elements like salt, lemon and some other things to avoid the evil eye. This corner is reserved only for puja purposes, and no one is allowed to smoke or do anything except puja in that area.
Sunita shared in the interview that every corner is set up to maintain the Vastu. They have an angel’s table, and every day during the afternoon, they light up candles. They believe in angels a lot. They have a Versace candle in their living room.
She also mentioned that to maintain the rules of Vastu Shastra, an ancient Indian architectural and design system, she put up a glass in the balcony corner. According to Vastu, a small elephant statue with Sai Baba is kept in the living room. She shared that she has an immense fondness for Sai Baba, and in each of her houses, she prefers to keep Sai Baba.
Sunita shared in the interview that this house in Juhu was created by combining three small flats. She mentioned that no one is allowed to enter the house wearing shoes. Her mother-in-law didn’t like people entering the house wearing shoes, so to date, she follows the trend. She requests that people, whether older or younger, leave their shoes outside the house.
