Steve Cropper is survived by his wife, Angel Cropper, and his four children, Andrea, Cameron, Stephen, and Ashley. The couple married in the late 1980s, a couple of days before he left for the first time on a tour with The Blues Brothers. According to some reports, Steve and Angel welcomed only two children, Andrea and Cameron, and the guitarist's remaining two children, Stephen and Ashley, are from his previous partner. The name of Cropper's previous partner isn't publicly known, but it's well known that Angel isn't the biological mother of Stephen and Ashley.

Despite being the wife of one of the greatest guitarists in American history, Angel Cropper always remained low-key and took care of the family. While Cropper was extremely busy with tours, Angel never let their kids stay away from their father. Angel Cropper supported her late husband, Steve Cropper, throughout his life and also helped him build a beautiful relationship with their children. Although he spent of his time away from the family due to the nature of his work, but Steve Cropper was a doting husband and father. He always credited his family for all his success in life.
Steve Cropper's contribution to the American music industry will never be forgotten. We hope God gives immense strength to his family and loved ones in this tough time.
