Streamer, Mizkif Recalls 'Toxic' Relationship With Emiru, He Rejected Her Marriage Proposal

Twitch streamer and cosplayer, Emiru (real name, Emily Beth Schunk), brought some explosive allegations against fellow streamer and One True King co-founder, Mizkif (real name, Matthew Rinaudo), during her October 26, 2025, Kick stream. Both are popular creators on the platform and have a large following. Emiru and Mizkif have been romantically linked for quite some time; however, they have carefully dodged related questions each time. Recently, both of them have admitted to the dating rumours amid a series of allegations hurled at each other.

Hours after Emiru's accusations of Mizkif having sexually assaulted her and threatened to ruin her life, he hosted a stream on Twitch to present his side of the story. Mizkif admitted to dating Emiru and acknowledged that their past relationship was 'deeply toxic' and 'emotionally damaging' for both parties. He admitted his aggressive behaviours, such as punching walls and slamming doors, saying, "I was a massive wreck. Couldn't think straight." However, he also tried to blame-shift, claiming that Emiru was also 'violent' as well. He alleged that she would throw 'clothes and plushies' at him in a fit of rage. He stated:

"The situation got so bad, she would throw clothes and plushies at me. Emi was also violent, and I punched holes in the walls and slammed doors in aggression."

According to Mizkif, the problems in his and Emiru's relationship were beyond fixing. By staying together 24/7, they grew tired of each other and started doing aggressive things they had never done before. As he put it, "things were just so amazing that first year," so they believed they could work things out later, but the "relationship was taking a huge strain" on them. Mizkif further alleged that both he and Emiru made threats of s*icide during arguments, countering her claims that it was only he who was hung up on their relationship even after it ended. Mizkif said:

"I one time did say that I was going to kill myself during an argument, but Emi did that too."

In the same livestream, Mizkif claimed that Emiru had once written a letter detailing her hopes for their future, which included marrying him and starting a family within five years. He stated that he realized their relationship was irreparable at that time, describing it as 'beyond the point of toxicity'. Citing an example of her unruly behaviour, Mizkif accused her of neglecting her pet rabbits and leaving them to suffer out in the sunlight. Thus, he decided it was better not to advance any further with such an unhealthy relationship and rejected her proposal.

Mizkif hit back at the Twitch community for turning their backs on him

The Emiru and Mizkif controversy drew significant attention among Twitch streamers. The streaming community has reacted strongly to their back-and-forth accusations, with many supporting Emiru and condemning Mizkif's behaviour. Many online observers condemned his attempts to deflect accountability and shift blame onto Emiru. Community sentiment largely favored Emiru, and numerous fans called for Twitch to ban Mizkif from the platform.

In response, Mizkif threatened to expose their secrets during a livestream. He warned that he possesses "hundreds of messages" and "things that people do not want to get released." He claimed he was "totally okay with exposing a lot of things" and said he was finished being friends with others in the streaming community. Mizkif's organization, One True King (OTK), and Twitch have not yet made public statements regarding the matter.
