Sudhanshu Pandey has gained immense love and popularity by playing the role of 'Vanraj Shah' in the hit TV show, Anupamaa. He is a model, actor, and filmmaker with an impressive career growth. The actor made his TV debut in 1998 with Kanyadaan and entered Bollywood with Khiladi 420, co-starring Akshay Kumar. Since then, the actor hasn't looked back and never stayed away from exploring new opportunities. His role in Anupamaa has been a testament to it. However, the actor recently shared surprising news about quitting the show, which left the fans heartbroken. In a new interview, Sudhanshu talked about his decision in detail.
Recently, Sudhanshu Pandey sat down for an interview with the Bombay Times and discussed his decision to quit Anupamaa and his plans for the future. Rumours of a possible conflict between the show's lead, Rupali and Sudhanshu, made headlines for a long time. However, they often denied the same in different interviews.
When Sudhanshu announced his sudden decision to quit Anupamaa, fans were sceptical about it. Several rumours suggested that his conflict with Rupali might be the reason behind his decision. But in the interview, Sudhanshu mentioned how there are always rumours when such exits take place from a show, and he doesn't intend to make any comment which adds weight to them. In his words:
"Whenever something like this happens, stories inevitably start to build around it. I choose not to add fuel to the fire because I have always conducted myself with integrity and dignity. I believe everyone has their perspective, which can lead to conflicts, and I prefer to avoid that."
After Sudhanshu announced his exit from Anupamaa, fans noticed that he unfollowed the show's producer, Rajan Shahi. The move made netizens speculate if the producer was the reason behind Sudhanshu's exit. However, the latter denied the news and shared that Rajan Shahi is an old friend and a brother to him. He emphasised how nothing in their bond has changed from his side and asserted that he has no hard feelings against anyone. In his words:
"Rajan is an old friend, and our relationship has always been like that of two brothers. We worked together back when he was starting as a director, long before he became a producer. From my side, nothing has changed in our equation. However, everyone makes their own decisions about how they choose to be with the other person. I have no hard feelings towards anyone."
In the same interview, Sudhanshu refuted the possibility of his comeback in Anupamaa and clarified he has decided to move on and won't look back. Although, the actor said he would miss playing 'Vanraj Shah', he wants to explore new roles and experiment in his career.
