Three new episodes of the reality show, The Traitors were out on June 19, 2025, and like the last week, this week also the show has managed to keep up the excitement among fans. Viewers are more and more interested in watching the show now, especially after the three new episodes in which contestants like Raftaar, Mukesh Chhabra, Maheep Kapoor and Ashish Vidyarthi got eliminated. This week’s episodes were full of drama, wrong judgements and emotional breakdowns of contestants after the elimination of Raftaar.
This week’s elimination came as a shock not just to the contestants but to the viewers as well. The new episodes started with all the contestants gathering in the breakfast area, except Mukesh Chhabra. When he did not come, the host of the show, Karan Johar explained that he was murdered by the 'traitors' and hence, he was eliminated. Then the episode was followed by the round table discussion, in which all the contestants were confused between Raftaar and Maheep Kapoor. After a long discussion, contestants decided and voted for Maheep Kapoor, eventually eliminating her.
In the next round, while most contestants doubted Apoorva Mukhija, Sufi Motiwala and Raftaar, maximum votes came against Ashish Vidyarthi and he was eliminated. The next round, came out to be the most shocking round. Names like Apoorva, Sufi and Raftaar were already on the table. Even after trying very hard of convincing other fellow contestants, everybody believed that Raftaar was the 'traitor' and all of them eliminated him. While convincing everyone, Raftaar even said, “If I am a traitor, I will stop rapping”, but it definitely did not help him. What came out as a shock to the contestants was that they misjudged all of the three contestants. They assumed the three to be the 'traitors' but in reality, none of them were the 'traitors'. All three of them were 'innocent'.
Raftaar’s elimination was an intense and emotional moment for everyone, especially after they got to know that he was not a 'traitor'. Sufi Motiwala played well in convincing other contestants that Raftaar was the 'traitor' and Sufi was feeling like the mastermind after this but when it was declared that Raftaar is innocent, everything turned into guilt. Sufi was seen having an emotional breakdown in which he said that “I thought I was Einstein but I am a fool”. The guilt, frustration and regret was evident in his breakdown. His words were:
“I thought I was Einstein, I thought I was Issac Newton in the game. But I am Boo-Boo the fool! I don’t know anything clearly. Other than the fact that I am an innocent.”
A highlight from the new episodes were the most talked about fight between Uorfi Javed and Raftaar. The two pointed fingers at each other on being a 'traitor', which turned into a huge argument. When Raftaar suspected Uorfi Javed to be the 'traitor', she replied with, “I am not the traitor. If I turn out to be a traitor, I will shave my head”. To this, Raftaar replied back saying, “If I turn out to be the traitor, I will stop rapping”. Hearing both of them, the other contestants were confused and did not know who was saying the truth. Drama increased when Sufi jumped into the fight in support of Uorfi Javed and pointed fingers at Raftaar, saying, “He is scared and is giving away that he is a Traitor”. Finally things ended with everyone being convinced by Uorfi Javed and Sufi and eliminated Raftaar.
