Standup-comedian couple, Sugandha Mishra and Dr Sanket Bhosale are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time in their lives. For the unversed, they tied the knot with each other on April 28, 2021, and it was only on October 15, 2023, that they announced their pregnancy to their massive fanbase. Since then, they are blessing our feeds with cutesy glimpses from Sugandha's pregnancy diaries, and glimpses of the same are simply unmissable. Now, as the madly-in-love couple hosted a baby shower party for their close friends and family in Mumbai, and revealed some unknown anecdotes from the same.
Taking to her IG handle, on October 29, 2023, Sugandha Mishra shared a couple of glimpses from her Maharashtrian baby shower party in a collaborative post with her husband, Dr Sanket Bhosale. The pictures featured the couple decked up in ethnic outfits as they enjoyed performing all the rituals, including barfi-peda, oti-bharan and dhanush baan. For the event, Sugandha looked stunning in a green-hued traditional saree with a broad orange border. She completed her look with customised floral jewellery and subtle makeup. On the other hand, Sanket complemented his wife in a peach-hued kurta-pyjama paired with an orange Nehru jacket.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Etimes, Sugandha opened up about the various small events during her baby shower ceremony. She revealed that there was a diaper-changing competition, and she won that. Furthermore, she also sang a song with her husband, Sanket for their would-be-child and said:
"I won the diaper changing competition. Sanket and I also performed on a song, which was composed and written by me and we both sang it. It was titled 'Naya Mehman Aane Wala Hai'."
The couple recently went to celebrate their baby moon in Goa. After returning from there, Sugandha and Sanket bared their hearts upon embracing parenthood in an interview with the Etimes. The mom-to-be revealed that this is one of the most adorable journeys of their lives. On the other hand, Sanket was asked how he takes care of Sugandha because he is a doctor himself. To this, he had said:
"I don't have to do much because Sugandha herself takes all the precautions and follows all the do's and don'ts of the doctors and even follows my advice. We are truly blessed by God."
