However, his elder kids, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, have also made a name for themselves with their own talent and performance. For the unversed, SRK’s daughter, Suhana recently became the youngest brand ambassador of the popular cosmetic brand, Maybelline, who chose her as a token of appreciating her dusky Asian skin tone.
However, now Suhana Khan has become a target of trolls and is facing criticism for allegedly lightening her skin colour for a lipstick advertisement. Recently, a Reddit user shared a poster of Suhana posing for the lipstick commercial. Sharing the picture, the netizen called the brand out for allegedly 'colour correcting' Suhana and giving her a fair complexion. The user captioned the poster as:
“Suhana Khan colour corrected pro max. She looks like Ankita Lokhande."

Soon, the post went viral in no time, and netizens started trolling the brand and Suhana Khan for agreeing to change her skin complexion. While one user wrote, “God forbid a woman is dusky in ads. WT* are these brands smoking these days?", another one commented, “Why did the brand apply pancake makeup to Suhana’s dusky face? It’s not flattering." Check out the comments below:
On April 11, 2023, Suhana Khan made her first official media appearance as she became the brand ambassador for Maybelline. The star kid got dressed in a red pantsuit and opted for glam makeup, exuding boss lady vibes. Addressing the people present at the event, Suhana expressed her excitement about being selected as the face of the beauty brand. In her words:
“Hi everyone. I am so excited to be here and see you guys again. We had such a good time filming. So I'm just really excited to be here and I can't wait for you guys to see everything we have filmed. It's an honour to be a brand ambassador for Maybelline after hoarding so many of their iconic products, especially their mascaras are amazing. But, yeah I am just super excited and happy to be a part of this brand, and I can't wait to make it shine with all of you.”
As soon as Suhana's pictures and videos were shared on social media, netizens started trolling the star kid for the same. While some hailed her beauty and confidence, others claimed that the star kid bagged the brand because of her superstar father. Reacting to the post, one user commented, "Born with a silver spoon indeed. Well, there are better models/ good looking girls out there but oh well you would always choose a nepo kid. On April 12, 2023, Shah Rukh Khan also posted a video compilation of his daughter, Suhana Khan's pictures from the Maybelline event. In the video, Suhana looked confident and elegant as ever in a red-hued pantsuit. She spoke well and beautifully presented her thoughts at the event. Congratulated his daughter for bagging the title of brand ambassador for Maybelline, SRK wrote:
"Congratulations on Maybelline beta. Well dressed…well spoken…well done & if I may take some credit, well brought up! Love u my Lil Lady in Red!"
