Sumona Chakravarti is a well-known television personality. She acted in several television serials before entering the comedy genre by being a part of Kapil Sharma's comedy shows. However, she did not join his team when they began working on their new show for Netflix, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Recently, she gave an interview to News18 Showsha where the actress shared deets about the reason.
Sumona Chakravarti, last seen in The Kapil Sharma Show, was shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in Romania. When the actress was not a part of Kapil's new show on Netflix, several reports claimed that she was not informed when the team began working on the latest show, which left her upset with Kapil Sharma. But clearing the air, Sumona said that when the previous show ended in June, the cast took up individual projects. So, it's not like she was 'fired.' In addition, she is not upset with Kapil Sharma for any reason. She was quoted as saying:

"I have said this time and again, I was part of a show which ended in July last year and it's not like you exited or I resigned or I got fired, the show ended in July and after that, we all went ahead. We took up our individual projects after that. I'm doing Khatron Ke Khiladi. He (Kapil Sharma) did another show. It's just that there is no bad blood at all. Why would I be upset (with Kapil)? He and I worked before and I went to Romania."

Sumona revealed that a few days ago, she had an interview with a journalist and clearly denied any fallout with Kapil Sharma and his team. At the same time, she described how things unfolded after the show and published a good article based on it. However, two days after that, another publication published an article that included opposite details, and she couldn't do anything about it because she was in Romania.
Several negative news reports were published to address the absence of Sumona Chakravarti in The Great Indian Kapil Show because the actress has been working with Kapil Sharma since his days in Comedy Circus. But the Bade Acche Lagte Hai actress doesn't get disheartened over it. She said that previously when she was in her early 20s and starting her career, negative news reports affected her. However, she has matured over time and said that she is not responsible for other people's opinions.

Sumona Chakravarti debuted when she was 11 in the Aamir Khan starrer film, Mann. Sumona continued working in television shows and became famous by starring in Ektaa Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hai. Sumona was last seen on The Kapil Sharma Show. She will next be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14.
