Suniel Shetty Reveals Athiya Is The 'Most Beautiful' When Pregnant, Shares When Her Baby Is Due

Suniel Shetty is currently on cloud nine as the actor will soon be a nana. Athiya and KL Rahul announced that they were expecting their first child in November 2024 and are now waiting for their little one's arrival. Fans have been equally excited to know when their bundle of joy will be born, and Suniel has shared when the baby is due.

Suniel Shetty sat for a conversation with Chanda Kochhar on her podcast, where he shared the details about his daughter, Athiya Shetty and cricketer, KL Rahul's first baby's due date. During the conversation, Suniel was asked what dinner table conversations looked like in the Shetty household before the baby's arrival. The actor added that there was no other conversation, and they liked it that way. Sharing about the baby's due date, the actor stated:

"Right now, probably the grandchild. There’s no other conversation, and we don’t want any other conversation. We’re just looking forward (to meeting the grandchild) in April."

In the same conversation, Suniel Shetty shared how he feels like the pregnancy looks beautiful on her daughter. He shared that for them, everything currently revolves around the baby. He revealed that it doesn't matter whether it's a boy or a girl. He further added that he always thought his wife, Mana, was the most beautiful pregnant woman, but he sees his daughter, Athiya and feels like she is the most beautiful. He was quoted as saying:

"Everything revolves around the baby; whether it’s a boy, it’s a girl, nothing matters. I always thought, I mean women overall, but I always thought Mana (his wife) looked the most beautiful when she was pregnant. I see Athiya and she’s looking the most beautiful."

On November 8, 2024, Athiya took to her Instagram handle and posted a joint post with her husband, KL Rahul. The actress shared a cutesy baby arrival announcement, which aligned with her love for everything minimal. They didn't opt for a pregnancy announcement photoshoot but rather a simple picture note. In the photo, the parents-to-be penned how their 'beautiful blessing is on the way'. They even mentioned the year 2025. The picture note also had tiny feet and a cute amulet to protect from the evil eye.

Suniel Shetty appeared on the show, Dance Deewane back in April 2024. When host Bharti Singh teased Suniel Shetty about what kind of nana the actor would be. However, what stirred the pot was when Suinel said that by the next season of the show, he would be walking on stage like a nana. He stated, "Yes, next season when I come (on Dance Deewane), I will be walking on the stage like a nana." His response soon created a buzz about the couple expecting their first child, which was later confirmed by the couple, Athiya and KL Rahul.
