Sunjay Kapur's Prayer Meet: Notice Features His 4 Kids' Names, While 2 Important Names Went Missing

It was only two days ago that the notice about the prayer meeting was shared. Now, a report claimed that while the notice mentioned everyone who was related to Sunjay Kapur, it skipped mentioning two other names, who are also important to Sunjay, and would allegedly take forward their legacy. As per a report by India Forums, the notice of the prayer meet had the names of Sunjay's four kids, Kiaan, Samaira, Azarias and Safira Chatwal, along with his widowed wife, Priya Sachdev, and his mom, Mrs Rani Surinder Kapur. The same report also shared that the prayer meet notice skipped mentioning the names of two sisters of Sunjay, Superna Motwane and Mandira Kapur.

Sunjay Kapur was the CEO of Sona Comstar, whose market value had been USD 4.7 billion, which is approximately Rs. 39,000 crore as of 2024. Sunjay Kapur's leadership was the reason that the company did extremely well in the market. Soon after his sudden demise, Sona Comstar shared a note about the same to express their condolences to the grieving family. Following Sunjay's demise, questions arose about who might lead the business after him. Meanwhile, a report by BollywoodLife stated that Sunjay Kapur's sisters, Superna Motwane and Mandira Kapur, are likely to take forward his legacy.

Sunjay Kapur reportedly had a legal dispute with his sister, Mandhira Kapur

For the unversed, both of Sunjay Kapur's sisters are well established in their respective careers. Superna Kapur Motwane is an established editor, while his sister, Mandira Kapur, is the founder of Sona Mandira Pvt Ltd (SMPL). If the reports are to be believed, Mandhira and Sunjay had a legal dispute once, which was caused by the former using the name 'Sona', which was actually founded by their late father, Dr. Surinder Kapur. After his demise, Mandhira took to her social media handle and dropped a post with him, with an emotional caption, which surely spoke volumes about the grief the entire family has been navigating.

Sunjay Kapur's prayer meet would be attended by Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan

Several videos have gone viral a while ago, wherein Karisma Kapoor, along with her kids, Samaira and Kiaan were seen at the airport. Apart from her, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were also spotted at the airport, as they all set out to New Delhi for the prayer meet that would take place today. Karisma and Sunjay were married for several years before they called it quits, back in 2016.
