Anil Kapoor and Sunny Deol are two of the most talented actors in Bollywood. Both of them never shy away from melting the hearts of their fans with their incomparable acting skills. Even in their 60s, both actors can give a shoulder-to-shoulder fight to the present-day actors. However, during the early days of their flourishing career, these two contemporaries were brought together for three films, Intekaam, Joshilaay, and Ram Avtar. However, it was their alleged fight on the set of Ram Avtar that grabbed the limelight.
When Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor decided to be cast in the movie, Joshilaay together, the former already grabbed the limelight with his performance in movies like Ram Lakhan and Mr. India. Speaking of Anil Kapoor, he was a star in the making. The movie, Joshilaay was offered to the duo back in 1989. As per a report by Aaj Tak, on the very first day of shooting, the cast of the movie was asked to recite a dialogue to announce the name of the movie, which everyone followed. But Anil Kapoor reportedly improvised his lines, which irked Sunny. The report also suggested how Sunny got angry but kept his mum after his name on the poster of Joshilaay came after Anil Kapoor. As per the report, during the shoot of a fight scene in their other film, Ram Avtar, Sunny Deol choked Anil Kapoor.

The ending part of the movie, Ram Avtar, features a fight between Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor. As per the reports, in the scripts of the movie, Sunny just had to keep his hand on Anil's neck. However, during the shoot of the same Gadar 2 actor furiously strangled Anil.
Another report by Lokmat Times reported that Anil Kapoor was gasping for breath at the end of the shoot of the scene. However, it is worth mentioning that none of such reports were ever officially confirmed. For the unversed, the film also featured the late actress, Sridevi alongside Anil and Sunny. As per a report by IBT, during the shoot of Ram Avtar, Anil Kapoor was avoided by Sunny Deol, and the latter didn't even speak to him.

If the reports are to be believed, Anil Kapoor, took his revenge on Sunny Deol for whatever happened in between them. As per a report by Koimoi, during the shoot of their film, Intekaam Anil Kapoor was intentionally reciting his dialogues while spitting on his co-star, Sunny Deol. As per the report, Sunny even informed Anil about the same, but the latter didn't stop, which angered the former, and he grabbed Anil's collar.
