Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are the sons of veteran actor, Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur. The sibling duo is all set to grace Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan season 8, and their fans are super excited for the same. For the unversed, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol last appeared on Karan Johar’s show in the first season back in 2005. Ahead of the release of the episode, many reports about the revelations made by the actor are going viral.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, it has been stated that among the many engaging and heartfelt conversations between Karan Johar, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, the episode will also focus on the lesser-known friendship between Sunny and Salman Khan. Though the inside details about the revelations are not known yet, fans can expect a lot of intriguing anecdotes coming their way.

In one of the segments of the promo video of KWK 8, Bobby Deol recalled the tough phase in his acting career and revealed the valuable advice that Salman Khan gave him. Talking about the same, the actor said that Salman had told him how he managed to come to the top after defeating Sunny Deol, who was very successful back then. Bobby added:
“One day Salman told me, jab mera career theek nahi chal raha tha, tab tere Bhai ke peeth pe chadh gaya tha aur aage badha.”
Bobby further revealed how Salman Khan helped him bag the film, Race 3, and recalled their hilarious conversation. He mentioned that he and Salman call each other mamu, adding that one day, the latter asked him if he would be comfortable removing his shirt on-screen, Bobby said:
“We call each other mamu, Toh maine usko bola Mamu, toh mujhe tere peeth par chadhne de na. A couple of years later, I got a phone call from him, and he said Mamu shirt utarega, I said haan mamu main kuch bhi karunga. So, that's how I got Race."

Earlier, in a conversation with Zoom, Sunny Deol opened up about his bond with Salman Khan and mentioned the importance of unity in the film industry. Talking about the same, the Gadar actor said that they both had known each other long before Sunny made his acting debut in the industry. In his words:
“We interacted with each other and he always used to look after me; he always wanted to be strong, wanted to be like me, and we also did a film together. He always stood by me. It is the kind of respect we have for each other.”
