Ever since Gadar 2 was released on August 11, 2023, people are immensely loving the movie. The Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol starrer film is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster hit, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. And becoming one of the highest-grossing films in India in 2023, it has already made a huge box-office collection of Rs. 470 crores. On the other hand, another film released on the same day was OMG 2, starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in crucial roles. Even though the two films were released on the same day, just like Gadar 2, OMG 2 also became another big hit in 2023. It made a huge collection of Rs. 137.55 crores.
Thus, for quite some time, there were also reports that Sunny Deol's lavish villa has been put up for auction. In addition, the reports claimed that the actors' villa would be auctioned virtually on September 25, 2023. Following this, reports surfaced on social media mentioning that Sunny Deol's close friend, Akshay Kumar has come forward to help him in this matter. Now, Sunny Deol's manager reacted to the same and revealed whether the actor is actually taking any help from Akshay.

For the unversed, the Bank of Baroda released an advertisement mentioning that Sunny Deol’s villa, located in Juhu in west Mumbai, was earlier being auctioned. And on August 20, 2023, another advertisement stated that the recovery of the loan is Rs. 56 crores and interest. However, on August 21, 2023, the auction has been withdrawn, and it is said that Sunny would pay the loan amount in a few days. And clearing what was said in the media report, claiming Akshay Kumar's meeting with Sunny Deol has been nullified by the latter's team. Moreover, revealing the reports of Akshay Kumar helping Sunny Deol is untrue, the latter's manager said:
"Completely untrue and false."
Gadar 2 also stars Utkarsh Sharma in the role of Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol's son, 'Charanjeet Jeete Singh'. As per the film's plotline, 'Tara Singh', played by Sunny, returns to Pakistan to rescue his imprisoned son during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. OMG 2 is also the sequel to the 2012 spiritual film, OMG – Oh My God! However, the sequel is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film based on sex education in Indian schools, written and directed by Amit Rai.
