Sunny Deol is basking in the glory of his last released film, Gadar 2. The film smashed several records at the box office and became one of the top 5 highest-grossing films of 2023. Undoubtedly, Sunny has been rising high on his professional front since then and has already begun shooting for his next projects. However, amidst all of this, a video went viral wherein Sunny can be seen in a drunken state and this created a huge uproar in the media. Now, Sunny has finally reacted to the same and revealed the truth.
A Reddit user shared a video featuring Sunny Deol, which is now going viral on social media. In the video, Sunny was spotted reaching near an autorickshaw in an inebriated state and unable to walk straight. He was seen roaming on the streets of Juhu, in a casual white shirt and jeans. As he reached near the autorickshaw, he was seen fumbling, and stopped in front of it. Then, the driver was seen helping him to get seated inside the vehicle. Atop the video, the caption read:
"Sunny Deol at Juhu circle."
As soon as Sunny's video showcasing him in a drunken state surfaced on the internet, netizens flooded the comment sections. While a netizen commented, "The D in Deol stands for daaru", another user mentioned, "I remember him saying that after seeing his father's drinking habit, he doesn't drink..I don't think it is real .why would he roam on the streets drunk. He has cars, bodyguards n all." One more comment read, "It's a movie shoot."

Finally, Sunny Deol reacted to it and revealed that he was actually shooting a night sequence for an upcoming film, Safar. Not only Sunny, but the film's producer, Vishal Rana from Echelon Productions also clarified the same. Vishal mentioned that the video was not real and requested fans not to spread fake news. Tweeting the same, Sunny wrote:
"Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin take (2 folded hands emoji) #Shooting #BTS."
Soon, Sunny's fans reacted to his Tweet and trolled those who had commented earlier about the actor. One fan wrote, "Jawab mil gaya haters ko." Another one mentioned, "Sunny paaji ki acting so good tha people actually believed."
On the work front, apart from Safar, Sunny has also signed Aamir Khan's production film, Lahore 1947, and as per multiple reports, a sequel of the 1997 film, Border.
