Sunny Leone Opens Up About Childhood Struggles And Losing Parents, Says, 'Itna Paisa Nahi...'

Sunny Leone shared her childhood struggles and early hardships. She spoke about doing small jobs as a child just to earn money for the family.

Sunny Leone Opens Up About Childhood Struggles And Losing Parents, Says, 'Itna Paisa Nahi...'

Sunny Leone, who was born as Karenjit Kaur Vohra opened up about her difficult childhood, which was full of financial hardship, parental loss and emotional pain. She spoke about how and what helped her overcome that pain. In the honest and heartfelt interview, she spoke about the challenges she faced while growing up, and her healing journey with her husband.

Sunny Leone was born in Canada and from an early age, she took on various jobs to support herself and her family. She used to go door-to-door to sell things. She believed that no job was too small if it was helping her to earn money. In the interview, Sunny spoke her heart out and said that she did everything she could to earn money. In her words: 

"Jab main chhoti thi main I would go door-to-door selling something. Jo bhi kar sakti thi paise kamane ke liye, main woh karti thi, at a very young age. Itna paisa nahi milta tha."

Sunny Leone met Daniel when her mother was very ill

During the same interview, Sunny spoke about the moment which acted as the turning point of her life. She spoke of the emotional moment when her parents fell sick. She shared how she met Daniel at the time when her mother was passing away and six months later, her father was diagnosed with cancer. These events completely broke her and her brother but Daniel supported her at the time, which gave her a lot of strength. She said: 

"When I met Daniel, my mother was passing away. So I met him in January, my mother passed away in March. Toh uss short time mein, something unimaginable happened in my life, so he was there to just pick up those pieces. Shortly after, six months later my father found out he had cancer, and he was also there to pick up those pieces. And not only for myself but also my brother, because it was just my brother and I."

She also shared how important and special it is to have someone at such a difficult time. She explained how it is easy to find someone who is around you in your happy moments, but it's much more rare and meaningful to find someone who supports you when life is difficult. For her, that person was Daniel who supported and gave strength to her. In her words: 

"I feel like it’s one thing when you meet someone in those fun times, but I think it’s another when you meet somebody who’s there for you on such a higher level that the worst things in your life can happen and they can hold you at night and tell you it’s going to be okay and still stick by your side is something very special."
