There have been several moments from Super Bowl 60, which became the talk of the town, and one of them was Kayla Nicole's seeming shade at her ex, Travis Kelce, during a commercial at Super Bowl 60.

Tiffany Haddish and the Los Angeles Clippers’ Ben Simmons, along with Kayla Nicole, appeared in the commercial for the betting app Sleeper. The commercial featured Tiffany and Ben as the 'ex-communicators' who help their clients to get past their old and already done and dusted relationships. Tiffany Haddish and Ben Simmons tagged themselves as emotional injury specialists, adding that they will confront their clients' exes so their clients won't have to.

The clip then showed testimonials from celebrities like Kayla Nicole, Offset, and Ace Greene. Among others, a name card described Kayla as the ex of a certain NFL player. To this, Nicole asked people not to lead her to talk about 'those two'. She said, "Don’t get me started on these two. They have no idea what they’re doing. At all." Nicole further added how Haddish and Simmons would help her to get over this whole ex-fiasco.

To mention, the entire incident was part of a commercial. Simmons added that it didn't at all sound right, while Nicole said that it was rapid. Simmons mentioned that it was not what he said, and stated that he told it 'swiftly', which might be a slight reference to Travis's fiancée, Taylor Swift. With this being featured in the commercial, people have been wondering if Kayla took a jibe at Travis and Taylor. Simmons could be quoted as saying:

"I said swiftly. Why is that so hard to remember?"

When Kayla Nicole dropped a cryptic post after Taylor and Travis's engagement

Travis Kelce proposed to his ladylove, Taylor Swift, in August 2025, leaving their fans in awe. It was several days after Taylor and Travis's engagement that Kayla Nicole,   the NFL star's ex, shared a video, wherein she could be seen doing her intense workout in the gym. Sharing the video with a song by Gunna, Made For This S*it, Nicole wrote, 'The goal? A back that says stop f–king playing with me.' No sooner did the story go viral than people thought it was a subtle reaction of his to Travis and Taylor's engagement.

For the unversed, Kayla and Travis dated for five years, beginning in 2017 and ending in 2022. The duo's relationship began with Insta exchanges first, and eventually, they started dating. Throughout their relationship, they went on a rollercoaster ride of breakups and patch-ups. In 2022, the duo actually broke up. While the actual reason for the breakup was not revealed, reports claimed that Travis didn't want Kayla to bear half of the expenses of their living. Well, it was never confirmed, but in an interview, Kayla mentioned bearing the expenses for their pet child, which Travis later criticised.
