Besides being an actor, Julia has worked both as a director and producer. Julia directed the short film Fairytale Remix and the series The Baby Sitters Pub.

David Corenswet and Julia Best Warner’s love story

David Corenswet crossed paths with Julia, when they both were teenagers. During a summer theatre program in Pennsylvania, the duo met for the first time. However, the couple wanted to keep their relationship private, and thus, kept it under wraps. According to multiple reports, David tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Julia in March 2013. The duo had an intimate wedding ceremony at the Immaculate Conception Church in New Orleans. David is Jewish, and Julia is Catholic; thus, they had an interfaith marriage, honouring both customs. In 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter.

Earlier in June 2025, in an interview with People, David described his relationship with his wife, Julia, as a 'slow burn', without disclosing any information about his married life. However, in the interview, he revealed that before he started shooting for Superman, he found out that his wife was expecting. David shared how he and his wife, Julia, both gained weight during that time. In his words:

"For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren’t telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us. And that was intense. She gained about 40 pounds while she was pregnant and in the same period I gained about 40 pounds gaining weight for Superman. I started snoring and had to use her pregnancy pillow."

While David and Julia kept their relationship out of the limelight for years, the duo recently made their first public appearance together. The couple appeared together at the premiere of Superman at the TCL Chinese Theatre on July 7, 2025. For the event, Julia donned a stunning grey-hued gown, while David looked handsome in a navy blue-hued pinstriped suit. The couple posed for the cameras, smiling and holding hands.
