The adorable couple, Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar never miss a chance to set couple goals with their stable relationship and love for each other. As they appeared on the latest episode of the reality show, The Kapil Sharma Show, the duo revealed various unmissable anecdotes from their love story. For the unversed, Sachin has acted and directed in various Hindi and Marathi films of the late 1980s and early 1990s. On the other hand, Supriya is a household name with her stint in TV shows and films, including Tu Tu Main Main, Sasural Genda Phool, Khoobsurat and many more. They are blessed with a daughter, Shriya Pilgaonkar, who has also set her foot in the acting industry.
Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar and their daughter Shriya Pilgaonkar graced on the latest episode of the comedy reality show, The Kapil Sharma Show. During the conversation with the host, the three discussed various topics, from their careers to their lives. However, the small anecdotes from Sachin and Supriya's love story were simply unmissable. From their first meet, what was Supriya's age when Sachin sang his superhit song, Bade Acche Lagte Hai, to how her mother-in-law advised him to propose to her, the duo revealed various anecdotes from their love story.

It was when the show host, Kapil Sharma asked Sachin whether he imagined Supriyaji's face while he sang the song, Bade Acche Lagte Hai, for the show, Balika Vadhu. To this, Supriya mentioned, "I was in school back then when the song came out." And Sachin too added:
"I had no clue in my wildest dreams that she would come into my life."
Afterwards, during the fan's questions segment, Kapil asked Sachin about Supriya's good qualities, which he would love to imbibe in his life. To this, Sachin immediately answered that he can't mention a single quality of Supriya, since there are many things which he would love to imbibe in his life. Sachin elaborated:
"Not just one there are many qualities that I would love to imbibe. It is a fact, I am not lying, Supriya transformed my life completely after our marriage and I give all the credit to her."
In the same show, Supriya recalled how Sachin was struggling to find the lead actress while making the Marathi film, Navri Mile Navryala. Then Supriya's mother-in-law saw her performing in a program and suggested Sachin cast her as a heroine in the movie. Supriya also revealed that it was only through that show that Sachin learned about her name. Supriya said:
"He had a desire to create this film, but he struggled to find a suitable leading lady for it. As a result, he tasked everyone with finding an actress. During that time, I was performing in a small programme on Mumbai's Doordarshan channel. My mother-in-law was watching the show and noticed me, and she thought that I would be perfect for the role. She informed Sachin about me, and he agreed with his mother. They learned my name from the show's credits."

Afterwards, Supriya mentioned that when Sachin's mother learned that the actress hails from Goa, she had asked her son to propose marriage to her. Thus, at the end of the Marathi film, Navri Mile Navryala, Sachin proposed to Supriya for marriage. However, during the shooting there was no such fling between them. Supriya mentioned that Sachin waited till the end of the shooting, since he feared that if he had proposed earlier, she would have abandoned the film. Supriya concluded:
"Upon discovering that I was from Goa, my mother-in-law suggested that I would be a good match for him. With this, she planted a seed in his mind. Although there was no such thing between us during the film's production. However, at the end of the movie, after everything was finished, Sachin decided to propose to me. He was worried that I might have abandoned the film if he had proposed earlier, so he waited until the end."
