Good news is raining in the television and Bollywood worlds. While our most favourite celeb couples are tying the knot, there are a few who are getting promoted to being parents. One such celeb who gave this pleasant surprise is none other than a pretty damsel, Surveen Chawla. Yes, the Kahiin To Hoga fame is expecting her first baby next year in 2019. Hate Story star gave us a pleasant surprise in 2017 when she revealed that she got married to her long-time boyfriend, Akshay Thakker of Earth Pharmaceuticals. The lovebirds got hitched in 2015 but kept their marriage a secret, successfully for almost 2 years.
Now, Surveen and Akshay are enjoying the next happy step of marriage as they will be called mom and dad soon by April 2019. Exactly, the baby is due in April and the elated mom-to-be herself shared this news with Bombay Times. Sometime back she took to her Instagram and shared a picture with her hubby along with a pair of baby's shoes. Along with the snap, she wrote, "Life happens when it chooses to happen when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet!! @akshaythakker".
Sharing if she is nervous to embrace motherhood, Surveen told, "Honestly, initially, the fear of change engulfed me, but later, the beauty of it all started sinking in. Now, I feel like I am embarking on a new journey and adventure of sorts. I don’t know how many women will tell you the truth, but the reality is that motherhood is a slow, gradual process. Motherly instincts are not born out of nowhere. Motherhood, to me, is a feeling that grows on you, with the growing life inside you. I think just the fact that women are designed to grow a whole being inside them is a far more superior feeling.” (Also Check: Shweta Tiwari's Second Husband, Abhinav, Disappeared From Her Life For One Year, She Reveals Why!)
Moving forward, the Hate Story 2 actress also put forth her views that the topic of working post becoming a mother should not even exist. She also shared her own plans and was quoted as saying, “Why should this question of whether an actress will continue to work or get interesting projects after marriage or motherhood be a point of discussion? I think we, as a society, should stop making a big deal about a woman becoming a mother, and of it having any adverse impact on her work or career. The day this question is asked to a man who embraces fatherhood, I will answer this one elaborately.” (Suggested Read: Twinkle Khanna And Actress Gayatri Oberoi End Up Wearing Exact Same Outfits At A Diwali Party)

I also want to enjoy this phase and make the most of it.”
