'Survivor 50': Billie Eilish, Mr. Beast And Jimmy Fallon To Appear On The Show, What To Expect?

Survivor 49, the forty-ninth season of the hit American reality show, premiered this year on September 24, 2025. Starting with 18 castaways, the gruelling competition finally reached its climax on December 17, 2025. Among the top five finalists - Kristina Mills, Rizo Velovic, Sage Ahrens-Nichols, Savannah Louie, and Sophi "Soph" Balerdi - the title of the sole 'Survivor' and a one million dollar prize was taken home by none other than the contestant that everyone was rooting for the most, Savannah Louie.  

Die-hard fans of the show need not be sad, as while this season has successfully reached its end, the next season is not too far away. While Savannah was crowned the winner, host, Jeff Probst revealed a preview for Survivor 50. The new season will reportedly premiere next year, on February 25, 2026. This season is already building up a lot of anticipation among viewers as pop icon, Billie Eilish is among the long list of celebrity names set to appear on the show.

The full trailer for the most anticipated season of Survivor yet, that is Season 50, dropped after the Survivor 49 finale premiered on CBS. As soon as the trailer was released, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that several celebrities would appear on the show. Among them, the one who got viewers the most excited is one of the top singers of our time, Billie Eilish. While the trailer and promotional material clearly revealed that Billie will appear on the show, her exact role is being kept tightly under wraps. 

One thing that we do know, however, is that there is a concept of Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol. This is going to be an advantage that will be inspired by Billie herself. This new concept has led many viewers to wonder whether it will be a game-changer for the participants, a curveball, or simply a tribute to an artist like Billie, who is a defining figure of this generation. Another thing we are sure of is that Billie won't be joining the season as a contestant but rather as someone who influences the game elements.  

Mr. Beast and Jimmy Fallon's role on Survivor 50  

Apart from Billie Eilish, Mr. Beast, and Jimmy Fallon are also set to appear on Survivor 50. During the teaser trailer, Mr. Beast is shown appearing on the island with a briefcase. Soon after, he presents a coin with ‘Beast Games' and ‘Survivor’ logos. As the teaser only shows him for a few seconds, the extent of his role on the show remains unclear. However, fans of the show are speculating that the briefcase might contain a high-stakes challenge or an advantage, or something similar.  

Coming to the late-night talk show host, Jimmy Fallon, he appears to be involved in the show through a fan-driven twist to the game. The theme titled In the Hands of the Fans, shows that his decisions could severely impact the gameplay of the contestants. Christian Hubicki, who is a participant in the upcoming season, noted during the trailer: 

“Jimmy Fallon may decide my fate in this game."
