Suryakumar Yadav's Mom Offers Prayers During Chhath Puja For Shreyas Iyer, 'Apni Maa Ke Paas Aajaye'

Shreyas Iyer, who is the vice captain of Team India at the moment, is recovering from a terrible spleen injury. Shreyas experienced the same when he was playing against Australia in the third ODI in Sydney. As everyone is focusing on the health of Team India vice captain Shreyas, Suryakumar Yadav's mother, Swapna Yadav, was seen praying for the cricketer's speedy recovery while performing the Chhath Puja. The clip has now gone viral on social media.

A clip of Indian team captain Suryakumar Yadav's mother, Swapna Yadav, doing the Chhath Puja ritual decked as a dulhan in a red saree and ghunghat has gone viral. She is seen standing in the water, telling the people around her to pray for Shreyas' quick recovery so he can return to his mother. The clip has instantly gone viral as Suryakumar's mom was seen taking three dips in the water, performing the Chhath Puja, and saying:

"Mei yeh bolna chahti hu ki Shreyas Iyer ke liye pray kare sab. Sabhi pray kijiye ki woh ache se aajaye. Kyuki uski tabiyat na theek nai hai, bilkul acha nai laga. Aap log bhi Shreyas ke liye pray kijiye ki Chhathi Maiya ki kripa se woh apne ghar ache see aajaye. Chhathi Maiya Shreyas apne maa ke paas wapas aajaye."

Shreyas has received a blunt spleen injury to his abdomen due to which a laceration occurred along with internal bleeding. After the video of Suryakumar Yadav's mother, Swapna Yadav praying for Shreyas went viral a user on X wrote, "This is peak cricket family - SKY's mom channeling those prayers for Shreyas. The latest scan shows he's improving fast. Get well soon!"

Netizens loved how the Indian cricket team is one full family, as a user also shared, "That’s so wholesome, true family vibes beyond the game..this is what makes cricket beautiful." Shreyas Iyer to be in the hospital for a few days

Well, when Shreyas was injured, there were some concerns that were raised, and then things were significantly under control. The cricketer, as per the latest update, has been shifted from the ICU but will be in the hospital for a few more days. It looks like Suryakumar's mom's innocent prayer will act like magic as she along with Shreyas' cricket fans from the entire India have been praying for his faster recovery and also sending him get well soon texts.

Suryakumar Yadav could not be with his mom during Chhath Puja

Suryakumar could not be there for the Chhath Puja due to a national commitment. However, he had given an update related to the health of Shreyas when a press event was held at Canberra. He shared that he had initially contacted Shreyas, but had not received a reply that day. However, SKY then learned from the Indian cricket team physio that Shreyas' condition had improved.
