There is nothing as sweet as the feeling of being in love, but things get a lot messier when things end on a sour note. And something similar happened to once madly in love Television beauty, Ankita Lokhande and B-town's charming boy-next-door, Sushant Singh Rajput. The news of their break-up spread like fire in the industry and the fans were heartbroken seeing their favourite couple drift apart. The love bug bit them on the sets of Zee TV's popular series Pavitra Rishta, however, the two parted ways back in the year 2015. And three years down the line, many of us still hope for them to reunite. While we don't think it's going to happen anytime soon but one thing is clear that they both wish well for each other and are on talking terms. Don't believe us, well read on further and know it for yourself. A few hours back when the first look of Ankita's big Bollywood debut went viral on social media, Sushant himself couldn't stop from commenting and sending congratulatory wishes. The Kedarnath actor wrote, "@lokhandeankita it looks absolutely great Ankita. I’m extremely happy to see this. May God bless with lots of success and happiness." Check it out below:

In case you missed Ankita's first look from the picture, here you go:
The picture was shared by casting director, Mukesh Chhabra and he wrote a long caption to wish Ankita for her big step. He wrote, "Here is the official look of Actress Ankita Lokhande as Jhalkari Bai in her debut film- Manikarnika. A woman soldier in Rani Laxmibai’s army, Jhalkari Bai eventually rose to the position of an advisor to the Queen. #KanganaRanaut@Jisshusengupta @anky1912 @DirKrish@shariqpatel @ZeeStudios_@KamalJain_TheKJ #Manikarnika so so so proud of you @lokhandeankita" (Also Read: Isha Ambani And Anand Piramal's Wedding, Kanyaadan Ceremony Hosted By Amitabh Bachchan)
Earlier in an interview with the DNA, Ankita opened up about her break-up with Sushant and why she took so long to make a comeback on the screen. She was quoted as saying, “Back then, I was trying to be a homemaker and doing a very big job. When I was working, I was satisfied; when I wasn’t, I was still happy. I’m okay with whatever I do. Aisa kabhi nahin tha ki mujhe yeh chahiye ya woh chahiye. I decided to take a break because I was happy with that then. It was not just for myself. I guess, the Universe wanted me to get back professionally, which is why I’m here now. I won’t say the break-up affected my profession, though. Love and work are two separate things. You need to balance them and I’ll say I wasn’t able to do that”.
She also added how break-up from Sushant and work life helped her to love herself. She said, "Of course, there is! (referring to the scope of new relationships in her life). I’m still waiting for my prince charming (laughs). But I’m not consciously looking for a man. I’m done with that! I don’t need a man to reach somewhere in life. I’d rather have awards”
Earlier this year, Sushant gave an interview to an ace film critic and senior journalist, Anupama Chopra, he talked about the real reason behind the break-up and how he came out of it. The actor stated, "It is very important to give time to a relationship. It can sustain if there are no expectations. When you are in love you care about your partner and wish for good memories with him or her. Therefore time is like an investment in any relationship. We run after a psychological security which will never last long. Most of the actors only want to speak about themselves and have become self-obsessed. They want to be heard only. Today, people no longer have listening power." (Don't Miss: Everything That Happened Inside Kapil Sharma And Ginni Chatrath's Big Fat Punjabi Wedding)

He further added, "If you are discussed, scrutinised and judged in public not as an actor but for your personal life, you can’t complain. However, you sometimes feel helpless and terrible. Especially if you are an introvert."
Well, looks like Sushant and Ankita are all set to open a new chapter in their life. What do you guys think?
