Sushant Singh Rajput’s death back in 2020 had created a massive upheaval in the film industry, and it sent shockwaves to everyone associated with the film world. The young and promising actor reportedly committed suicide at his Bandra residence, after suffering from depression. However, what followed soon after his unfortunate death was a series of media and court trials, with reports of the actor’s death being a murder. Even now, his family members continue to seek justice over his death.
In a recent interaction with Ranveer Allahabadia, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti bared her heart out, making some unheard revelations about the latter. The doting sister, who missed her baby brother immensely, claimed that he didn’t find acceptance from the film industry right after his debut films. She revealed that Sushant felt demotivated when his film, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story didn’t fetch any appreciation, since its release clashed with the release of a film that featured an actor’s son. In her words:
“When MS Dhoni was released, an actor’s son’s film was also released. Everyone was praising that person, writing about him but nobody was writing about him. This used to affect him. If you are childlike inside. If you have done something nice. You would want people to praise you so that you feel uplifted. He never got that sort of acceptance in Bollywood.”

Talking about the reason behind the same, Shweta remarked that his brother’s soul wanted to prove everyone that foul play was indeed involved in his death. Moreover, she remarked that after so many years now, she feels Sushant’s soul is in peace. She said:
“Pehle there was a struggle. Like his soul was struggling. He wanted to prove everyone ki there was foul play involved. Uske baad, now I feel he is in Kailash with Shiv Ji. So I can feel his peace.”
