Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise in the year 2020 left millions of his fans and people across the world shocked. People who knew him and those who connected with him through his films were sure that the actor had not died by suicide. The sheer belief of his millions of fans started a revolution, and the internet was flooded with pleas demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, which made the CBI probe the matter. While the fight is still on, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kriti, for the first time, opened up about connecting with him after his tragic demise.
Recently, Shweta Singh Kirti appeared in Preetika Rao's podcast, wherein she talked about her spiritual experiences and how she dealt with the pain of losing her brother, Sushant Singh Rajput. During one point in their conversation, Shweta revealed that her brother, Sushant still connects with him after he passed on. She called their relationship 'cute and almost twin-like' as they were just a year apart. Shweta revealed that once she lost her AirPods and was not able to find him when she heard her brother's voice. Shweta was quoted as saying:
"I have felt his presence a lot of times, and we had a very cute relationship where we were almost like twins. we were always together, bahut hasi majak hota rehta tha. Toh kya hua after his death I lost my airpods toh I was looking for it everywhere and I was not able to find it. Toh bhai dheere se mere kaan mein bolta hai. I felt it like his voice nd his husky voice and everything."

Shweta further added that he told her that her airpod was behind the curtain. Shweta termed the experience as spooky, and she even told her brother the same. Sushant replied that it was normal and it was just that he didn't have a body. Shweta said:
"He told me, "Tumhara airpod tumhare curtain ke peeche hai. Jao waha par mil jayega on the window shield." I thought really? Toh I went there and checked, and it was right there. I was like oh my God bhai, this is so spooky. I'm able to hear you, talk to you. Is this not spooky. Toh he was like, 'Kya hua, this is not spooky at all. This is normal, it's just that I don't have a physical body now, but I can still connect with you and I can still talk to you, and you should be totally fine with it.'"
Shweta added that this incident happened while she was in California, and it happened almost one and a half years after his passing away. She stated that she still feels his presence and he keeps doing something or the other. Shweta shared that when she travels in the car, his song starts playing, when she does bhajan and feels emotional, suddenly his song starts playing.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead mysteriously in his home on June 14, 2020. While Maharashtra police claimed it was suicide, his fans believed otherwise. Soon, questions were raised, and an appeal for proper investigation was made. After this, Sushant Singh Rajput's family barged in and asked CBI to investigate the case further. The investigation is still going on, but no progress has been made. And while Sushant is not with us, there hasn't been a day when his fans and family have not thought about him.

Sushant's family often shares snippets of his life with his fans. On September 25, 2020, SSR's family shared the handwritten letter Sushant had written to his mother on their official Twitter handle, 'United For #SushantSinghRajput'. His letter could be read as:
"As long as you were, I was. Now just in your memories, I come alive. Like a shadow. Just a flicker. Time doesn’t move here. It’s beautiful. It’s forever. Do you remember? You promised you would be with me. forever, And I promised you that I would keep smiling, no ma(tter) what. It seems we both were wrong mother."
