Sushmita Sen's Ex-BF, Rohman Shawl Reveals 'Aukaat Nahi Hai' To Gift Her 22 Carat Diamond

Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl dated one another from 2018 to 2021. It was in December 2021 when the former pair broke up but have continued to be good friends even after the separation. Now, recently model-turned-actor, Rohman, opened up about the kind of gifts Sushmita likes and also spoke about how it is not in his budget to gift her a specific diamond that she adores. In 2021, when the actress separated from Rohman, she mentioned in her post how they started off as friends and then remained the same. The relationship was long over, but the love remained.

Sushmita and Rohman were together for a few years before they separated. During a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Rohman was asked if he had ever gifted Sushmita a diamond. He shared of not having the 'aukaat' to do the same. The former pair may not have been together at the moment, but their bond seems to be strong. Rohman was frank enough to admit that he did not earn that much to gift Sushmita her favourite diamond of 22 carats and shared:

"Jis hisab ke unko diamond pasand hai, abhi meri aukaat nahi itna bada kharidne ki. Toh jis din uss layak banunga, insh allah zaroor. Unka ek pasandita diamond hai, woh 22 carats ka hai. Toh woh kamane ke liye bahot waqt hai, but inshallah jaldi."

Sushmita and Rohman, in the past, were seen together, and their fans thought that a patch-up was in the cards. While the fans kept guessing there has been no news of the former couple reconciling. Neither Sushmita nor Rohman has spoken about their equation. On the work front, Rohman made his acting debut with the Tamil movie, Amaran, where he essayed the role of a villain. His negative role got a lot of positive response from his fans.

When Rohman Shawl revealed being with Sushmita Sen for six years

Sushmita and Rohman's relationship has always sparked curiosity. Sushmita had clarified earlier that she was single, and Rohman, on the other hand, did cherish the memories he had made with Sushmita over the past six years. Rohman has always been protective of Sushmita, and when discussing their bond, he said that there was nothing new as they had been together for six years. When Sushmita came on Rhea Chakraborty's podcast, she spoke about having no man in her life. She shared:

"I have no man in my life. I've been single for a while. It has been almost two years since I have been single, to be precise since 2021… I am not in a relationship. I have some incredibly wonderful people in my life who are my friends and they are all just waiting for a moment for me to call them and say, ‘Look, I'm pulling the car out, get in the backseat. We're driving to Goa."

Sushmita had earlier revealed that she did not meet Rohman at any fashion show. She shared that her meeting with Rohman had a beautiful serendipity story. He slid into Sushmita's direct message section, and she did not check as she was not sure. While scrolling through the DM's, she was touched by what he had written, and then they started talking. He was jumping with joy seeing her reply.
