He posted a sweet monochrome snap with her, but a troll accused Rohman of being friend-zoned and living under the shadow of Miss Universe. Now, Rohman had a befitting yet gentle reply to the muggle.

It was on July 28, 2025, when Rohman posted a black and white monochrome snap with Sushmita. She was seen looking away from the camera lens, and in the loved-up snap, both were seen in similar attire. Now, in the comments section, a troll commented, "Friend-zoned, you are! Just get out of it and own yourself! Individually, you can do more than living just as a shadow of Miss Universe!" Rohman did not get hyper but gave a very calm response that read:

"Being associated with someone remarkable doesn’t diminish me, it reflects the kind of people I choose to walk beside & my love. Galaxies don’t cast shadows — they shine together!! Much love."

Rohman, while sharing the emotional picture with Sushmita, revealed in his caption how some stories outgrow their titles but never their meaning. In his sweet note, he spoke about how he taught her chess, and she now beats him without any mercy. He thanked the actress for teaching him to swim, dragging a water-phobic soul into the deep, literally, emotionally. In his post, Rohman also thanked Sushmita for giving him the best haircuts. A part of his note read:

"We swapped roles, fears, and strengths, and somewhere between checkmates and deep ends, we found a bond that outlived labels. Not lovers, not strangers, something softer, rarer !!! You were once my safe place & somehow, still are!!!! Grateful for the love we had & the quiet friendship that stayed @sushmitasen47."

How did Rohman Shawl meet Sushmita Sen?

Rohman was the lucky one who had slid into the direct message section of Sushmita Sen. The actress shared that he had first invited her to watch a football match, but later they met for a coffee date. Soon after Rohman started texting Sushmita, they began dating. However, the actress did confirm that they would always be close friends even if they were no longer partners. Hence, after the breakup, Sushmita and Rohman were spotted together at public events and social gatherings, raising eyebrows about their relationship once again.
