Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen's heart attack news has shocked the entire nation. The actress is known as one of the fittest personalities in Bollywood. Sushmita, who is a mommy of two gorgeous girls, often promotes the benefits of yoga and regular workout on her Instagram feed. On March 2, 2023, she shared the news of suffering from a heart attack a few days ago. However, she didn't reveal much about it.
According to the latest report by ETimes, Sushmita suffered a heart attack while she was shooting for one of her projects. A source close to the actress revealed that she developed discomfort in her chest. She was examined by a doctor on the set and was immediately rushed to the hospital. A team of cardiologists looked after the actress, and they started the angioplasty procedure. Sushmita was hospitalised to monitor her vitals, and her procedure was completed with a small incision.

On March 2, 2023, Sushmita shared a photo with her father. Along with it, she had revealed that she suffered a heart attack. She further confirmed that she was doing well after the angioplasty procedure. An excerpt from her long note could be read as:
"I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart."
Sushmita Sen's sister-in-law, Charu Asopa also took to her IG story and penned a wish for her. She called her the strongest woman with a big heart. While Charu is living away from Rajeev Sen, she shares a warm bond with his sister, Sushmita, whom she calls didi.
