In an interview with Pinkvilla, the Thappad actress, Taapsee Pannu, was asked whether she had ever hidden things about her relationships from her parents. To which, the actress revealed that right from the start, she never hide anything from her parents and always gave them hints about the same. She said, “Honestly, it's never been like I have hidden things from my parents. But I'm also of the belief that I will bring someone to their notice only when I'm sure of it. Most of the times, it didn't reach that level.” Taapsee also talked about a funny incident where she told the boy that if her parents aren’t going to like him, then there’s no chance. Yes! She said this as she revealed, “There's someone in my life, and my family knows about it. It's very important for me that my family - including my sister and my parents - they like the person who I'm with. Else it won't work for me. I remember joking about it and telling someone, "Agar mummy papa nahi maane, toh mujhe nahi lagta kuch ho sakta hai.” (Don't Miss: Sunny Leone Leaves India Amidst Coronavirus Scare, Flies To The US With Her Kids, Feels Safe)

In the same interview, Taapsee Pannu’s mother, Nirmaljeet Pannu was also present and when asked about her views on her daughter’s boyfriend and relationships. The proud mother wasted no time in telling us how proud she is of her daughter and has complete faith in her choice. She said, “I completely trust her and whomever she chooses for herself, we are okay with her decision. We will support her.” Well, it’s beautiful to see such a connection between Taapsee and her mother. However, as we all know that the super-talented actress is dating ace badminton player, Mathias Boe and according to a lot of reports there are speculations that this relationship holds the steadiness required to reach the ultimate step of marriage.

For the uninitiated, right now Taapsee is living with her sister, Shagun Pannu in their Mumbai apartment but their parents are living in their Delhi residence. Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Taapsee Pannu had talked about her parents and how she keeps a close tab on the danger zones in Delhi but had confirmed that so far there’s no red zone nearby her parents’ home. She had revealed, “I’m glad that my parents aren’t living anywhere near the hotspot. They’re in their 60s and need to be slightly careful. My dad is retired and mom is a housewife. Most of the time, they stay indoors and would only go out for a walk, meet friends, or visit the Gurudwara or market place nearby. So after the lockdown, it hasn’t affected them the way it has affected us. They seem to be more worried about how we’re coping with it.” (Also Read: Neha Dhupia Wishes Hubby Angad Bedi On Second Wedding Anniversary, Refers To Her Roadies Controversy)
