Undoubtedly one of the ‘most wanted’ actresses on every director’s list these days, Taapsee Pannu is reaching great heights and is making a prominent mark for herself in the tinsel town. With back-to-back hit films in her kitty, Taapsee is redefining the roles of actresses in Bollywood with her correct choice of films. Post her superhit movie, Pink, Taapsee is once again back with her same co-star, legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan for her latest release, Badla. Prior to working in Badla with Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee had worked with Abhishek Bachchan in Manmarziyaan. And in several interviews, the actress has spoken about her work and experience with the most popular father-son duo in Bollywood. In an interview with ZoomTv.com, the 31-year-old star shared, “Bachchan sir, on one hand, loves rehearsing. Abhishek also rehearses but not as much as Bachchan sir. I cannot define a process but as my co-actors, what I felt, I think they are totally different kinds of actors.”
Taapsee Pannu also shared a very interesting insight about Senior and Junior Bachchan in the same interview. Revealing one thing common between both the actors, she shared, “One thing common between them is their energy. When I look into Bachchan sir's eyes, the energy I receive from him is same as that of Abhishek. That energy is same. Their eyes have a lot of emotions.” That’s amazing, right?
In yet another interview with DNA, Taapsee spoke about her experience of working with both Amit ji and Abhishek and stated, “I can have the same conversation with the father that I can have with the son. It’s not that just because I am closer to Abhishek in age, I talk to him in a different manner. They are both different actors, but the similarity lies in their demeanour, the way they sit and, sometimes, their voice.”
She further added, “I’ve very confidently switched off the button in my head that he is ‘The’ Amitabh Bachchan. Even Abhishek was amused by it. In fact, during the promotions of Manmarziyaan, he kept telling everyone that the way he saw me behaving with Sir, was not even the way he behaves with his dad at home. You respect the person, but you don’t have to put him on a pedestal and make him inaccessible. You have to make that person a part of your conversation and let him feel disconnected. That’s why I gel with Sir as I do with Abhishek.” (Must Read: Taapsee Pannu Finally Opens Up About Her Alleged Secret Engagement In Goa)

Taapsee Pannu had also revealed that Big B used to give her ‘back-handed compliments’. Elaborating on the same, she shared, “He said, ‘Don’t give yourself this whole thing that you’ve just come in and are new’. I said, ‘Sir, I have not got any flowers or letters.’ This was before Manmarziyaan released. And he said, ‘The day you perform to actually deserve them, you will get them.’ Then I told him, ‘I think, you don’t watch enough of my films.’ I keep telling him that I’ll make sure he watches my movies because I need more flowers and letters.”
In an interview with The Quint, Taapsee Pannu got all candid about her equation with Bollywood’s Shahenshah and stated, “I think I was beyond that awe after the first day of Pink itself. The first day was a little jittery, because it was the first day and after that I had intentionally switched off that button which told me that he is THE Amitabh Bachchan. Since then we have been on the same page. Be it during Pink, be it during Badla or the time in between when we were meeting up at his place at his birthday dinner, Diwali party or whatever.”
She further added, “I’m pretty much at that page with him where he is like my any other co-star I get along with. I can talk to him about anything I can talk to Abhishek about. So, it’s not like because he is THE Amitabh Bachchan, I can speak about only these things or I can speak only this way and not that way. I pretty much treat him like my another cool co-star. I’m much more comfortable with him than I am with Abhishek actually because I’ve done two films with him now. So, I can pick up the phone and message him any time and he replies to it and he has this very interesting new fad of sending emojis, so he replies more with emojis than words now. So yeah, so he is a cool co-star for me.” (Also Checkout: Taapsee Pannu's First Boyfriend Left Her For His 10th Board Exams, This Is How She Reacted)
