Taapsee Pannu has been grabbing all the limelight in the past couple of days, courtesy of the speculations of her hushed-up wedding with long-time beau, Mathias Boe. For the unversed, the couple got hitched in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur, back on March 22, 2024. The couple have maintained their silence over the big news of their lives, nevertheless, a few days back, internet was filled with tons of first glimpses from Taapsee and Mathias’ wedding celebrations. According to a source close to the newly-wedded couple, Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe, revealed how their wedding featured a beautiful crossover of their respective Indian and Danish cultural roots. The source shared that the duo got married following rituals of both the customs. Moreover, the bride, Taapsee also donned unique bridal attires made by lesser-known designers, both for her Indian and Danish wedding. For instance, Taapsee paid respect to her own Punjabi roots and made her bridal entry to the tunes of Jagjit Singh-Chitra Singh’s popular bridal track, Kothe Te Aa Mahiya.

Moving forth, the source also shared the designers that the actress, Taapsee Pannu opted for both the weddings. Her Danish wedding outfit was custom designed by the international fashion designer, Lasse Spangenberg, based out of Denmark, who has the previous experience of designing outfits for Danish royalty. On the other hand, Taapsee’s Indian bridal ensemble, which consisted of an angrakha-style kurta with pants were from the shelves of the designer, Mani Bhatia.
Apart from the bride and groom’s outfits, the source also shared a few more details about the wedding arrangement. Well, the meticulously planned wedding extravaganza of Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe took place at the luxury property of Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur. The couple had hired some of the most successful wedding planners for arranging a seamless celebration of their love, at the same time maintaining the privacy of their moments.

In her first-ever interview post-marriage with Mathias Boe, Taapsee Pannu hinted at a certain change in her life. While speaking with the Elle Magazine, the diva gave an indirect hint to her wedding and subsequent new beginnings in her life and remarked that she now wants to enjoy life to the fullest, rather than worrying about work. In her words:
“At this point, I feel my professional choices are largely driven by the value of my time. I want to be sure if taking up a certain project is worth my time because I want to enjoy life beyond work. The second factor is relevance. I would love to cherish my filmography years from now. So, I don’t want to invest time in something that will not stand the test of time.”
