Popular actress, Tabu has indeed etched a beautiful place in the hearts of her millions of fans. Her charming acting sense and beauty never miss a chance to drool her fans. Thus, she was also linked to a number of rumoured affairs. Among these, her linkup with South Indian actor, Akkineni Nagarjuna was the most discussed one. Their alleged affair has also raised many eyebrows as he was already married to actress, Amala at that time. If reports are to be believed, Tabu and Nagarjuna parted ways after ten years of relationship as she wanted a stable relationship but he couldn’t commit to her as he was already married twice.
Despite the breakup, Tabu and Nagarjuna maintain a cordial friendship, and Naga Chaitanya once mentioned being extremely close to the actress. Now, on June 16, 2024, when the world is celebrating Father's Day, Naga Chaitanya dropped a lovely throwback photo with his father, Nagarjuna. In the photo from Chaitanya's childhood, the father-son duo looked adorable together. Nagarjuna looked handsome in a striped shirt, whereas Chaitanya was wearing a T-shirt teamed with printed shorts.

Sharing the photo, Naga Chaitanya penned, "The OG", followed by a red heart. Soon, many eminent names in the film industry reacted to the same. Naga Chaitanya's rumoured girlfriend also liked the post. However, it was Nagarjuna's rumoured ex-girlfriend, Tabu's reaction to the post, that caught our attention. She dropped four red hearts, and expressed her love for the beautiful picture.
Once, in an interview with The Times Of India, Nagarjuna's wife, Amala opened up about her husband's alleged affair with Tabu. She said that her house is sacred, and she does not allow anything unpleasant from the film industry to contaminate her house. Revealing that such rumours not only hurt her and her husband, Nagarjuna, but also impacted Tabu, Amala stated:
“Nothing will shake this belief. Nobody should bother what happens under my roof. I am happy. And before you ask whether my husband and I have discussed this – never. My home is sacred, like a temple and I don’t allow anything unpleasant from the film industry to come in, especially filthy gossip. I don’t encourage such talks. I feel it will contaminate my house. Tabu is one of the persons, besides Danny Denzongpa, my Rakhi brother, from Mumbai who I am in touch with. And, yes, she stays with us when she comes here.”

In 2007, Tabu appeared in an episode of Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan. During her conversation over there, Tabu opened up about her dating rumours with Nagarjuna. When Karan Johar asked her to clear the air around her and Nagarjuna's alleged relationship, Tabu called the actor one of the closest people in her life. Tabu shared:
“He’s one of the most important relationships that I have. My relationship with him is very dear to me, and nothing can ever change or alter my relationship with him. I don’t have any label for it, and I can’t do anything about it.”
