Taha Shah Badussha has been grabbing the headlines with her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The young actor played the role of 'Nawab Tajdar Baloch' in the series, and oh boy, he did proper justice to the role. Moreover, it was Taha Shah's acting skills that made him the internet's new crush. While his performance has been receiving love, Heeramandi's writer and additional director, Snehil Dixit Mehra, recently revealed an incident when Taha Shah left her annoyed.
In an interview with BollywoodLife, Snehil Dixit Mehra stated that she wanted one of the sequences of Heeramandi to be different, for which Taha Shah needed to cry. The writer mentioned that during that time, the actor didn't listen to her and annoyed her. Recalling the same, Snehil shared that when she asked Taha to have tears in his eyes, he had said that men do not cry.

She stated that they had to take a lot of retakes, as she wanted Taha to cry at any cost, and then only the audience would be able to empathise with him and connect. She also added that at the end, Taha Shah cried because he considered Snehil to be his sister, so he did it for her. Snehil said:
"In one particular scene I wanted him to have tears in his eyes and he’d say, ‘Aadmi thodi rote hai."
For the unversed, Taha Shah was earlier selected for a smaller role, that is 'Nawab Tajdar Baloch's friend in the series. However, in an interview with The Indian Express, the actor mentioned that after he gave the look test, SLB told him that he wasn't selected for the role, and it left him heartbroken. Later, Sanjay Leela Bhansali shocked Taha by offering him the lead role, which brought him immense fame. Talking about his experience working with SLB, Taha shared that in the first few days, the director didn't talk to him directly and asked the assistant directors to assist the actor. Later, Sanjay asked Taha Shah to sit with him and observe him. Taha also called himself lucky as he didn't get scolded by the director.

For the unversed, Taha Shah had changed his middle name to 'Tajdar' on his IG bio. However, it was only in a span of 14 days that Taha Shah had gained his fans into millions. Well, he truly deserved that. For those who don't know, Taha Shah had worked really hard to make his place in the industry.
