In this millennial age, while some of our most favourite celebrity couples have gone for splitsville and even our own love life has been dead forever, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have proved to be an epitome of real love. Virushka, for us, has been a synonym of relationship goals ever since the news of their 'love' made the headlines! And as we are all aware, Virat and Anushka met each other in 2013, while shooting together for a TV commercial. Ever since, there has been looking back for the lovebirds.
But do you know, Anushka Sharma is not the first Bollywood actress with whom Virat Kohli fell in love during the shoot of an ad? Virat has been linked to quite a few ladies before he married the love of his life, Anushka, and one such name is of Baahubali fame, Tamannaah Bhatia. Tamannaah and Virat met for the first time for the shoot of the phone brand, Celkon’s advertisement. As per the rumours, Virat and Tamannaah fell in love and began dating in 2012. Everything was going well until Virat showed interest in Brazilian actress, Izabelle Leite.

Tamannaah Bhatia and Virat Kohli never went public with their relationship, but the rumours mills suggested that the latter’s closeness with Izabelle Leite became the reason behind their breakup. Tamannaah recently appeared on Famously Filmfare and shared her thoughts about working with Virat and revealed that they had only “spoken four words” during the ad film and they didn’t meet or speak after that.
Tamannaah Bhatia said, “I think we spoke four words during the ad film, that’s it. After that, I’ve never met or spoken to Virat. But, I must say he was better than most of the actors we work with. And it was quite intimidating.” While both of them have moved on with their lives, Virat Kohli tied the knot with Anushka Sharma in December 2017 and Tamannaah is still single and looking for her Mr Right.
Sometime back, there were reports that Tamannaah Bhatia is all set to marry her USA based physician boyfriend in 2019. But rubbishing all such speculations, Tamannaah released a statement about her alleged impending marriage. The Baahubali 2: The Conclusion fame actress had tweeted, “One day it’s an actor, another day it’s a cricketer, and now it’s a doctor. These rumours make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree. While I love the idea of being in love, I definitely don’t appreciate baseless news when it comes to my personal life. I am happily single at the moment and my parents aren’t groom hunting.”

Tamannaah further clarified, “The only thing I’m romancing right now is my cinematic endeavours. I really wonder where these speculations constantly crop up from when all I’m doing is shooting. It’s really prejudicial and disrespectful. The day I decide on going down that road, I will announce it to the world myself because the institute is consecrated. It’s not as casual as the numerous speculations being floated. I’d like to make it very clear for once and for all that marriage isn’t on the cards yet and all these baseless rumours must be put to rest and is a product of someone’s imagination.”
In an interview with Adam Gilchrist for BCCI, Virat Kohli opened up about life outside of cricket and he talked about married life with Anushka. Virat had said, “When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. So, her life was very different. It came with her own challenges & perspective on things.” He added, “It was amazing to just see myself- how much different things were to the way I think. I was not a very practical person before that. But, she has changed me a lot. I've learnt so much from her. That’s what it’s supposed to be like, you should help each other grow and she has certainly helped me grow.”
