Currently, the comedian is making headlines after a report by Tech Informer has gone viral, which claimed that Tanmay is India's richest YouTuber, with a net worth of Rs. 665 crores. Recently, he reacted to the same on his social media handle.

Since a few days, the entire spotlight has shifted towards the comedian, Tanmay Bhat, just because of the claims around his net worth. On October 4, 2025, the content creator took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and addressed the same claim. In his post, he jokingly mentioned that if he had a net worth of Rs. 665 crores, then he would not be selling YouTube membership. His post can be read as:

"Bhai itne paise hote toh main YouTube membership nahi beach raha hota."

Recently, a blog called MyJar published a list of the Top (Richest) YouTubers in India according to 2025. In the list, Tanmay Bhat was put at the top with an estimated net worth of Rs. 665 crore. That list also showed Technical Guruji with Rs. 336 crore, Samay Raina with Rs. 140 crore, CarryMinati with Rs. 131 crore, Bhuvan Bam with Rs. 122 crore and many more. A lot of fans were shocked to see the numbers on the list. 

Reportedly, MyJar shows each creator's public metric like subscribers, channel start date, video counts and then lists their likely income sources including YouTube ads, memberships, Super Chats and more. Based on that, it gives the net worth figures. While it is interesting for fans to know these numbers, there is no confirmation that these estimated values are true.
