Actor, Tanuj Virwani is not just known for his work in movies and the OTT section but is also known for his personal life. There was a time when the Rana Naidu Season 2 actor, who had shared screenspace with Jennifer Winget in Code M, was rumoured to be in a relationship with her. There was gossip around the mills related to their dating, and Tanuj had to clarify and clear the air related to the same. Now, in an exclusive interview with BollywoodShaadis, Tanuj shared why he had to open up on his relationship with Jennifer.

When Tanuj and Jennifer were seen together in Code M, speculations were doing the rounds that both were seeing each other. Tanuj, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Shaadis, shared that what happened was he was non-committal and did not say anything. After a point, his silence was taken for granted. Tanuj shared that he was open about his life as he did not like having filters, as when he is asked something, he likes to answer the same. Clarifying his relationship status with Jennifer, Tanuj shared:

"But then I knew she and I are friends. We have an amicable equation with each other. We worked together on a couple of seasons of Code M, and I felt a strain starting to come on my friendship due to all this talk happening. I felt it was needed to shut everyone down. If I had put a picture with her, everyone would be like they were here. When you take things out of context, it cannot be nice."

Tanuj, who is happily married, also shared that even after his marriage, he was open about the fact that he had nothing with Jennifer. When he was engaged to Tanya Jacob, he had posted the same on his social media. He shared that not everyone needed access to everything in his life. Tanuj shared that what mattered was work, and people are curious to know about what is happening in his personal life. However, the actor, after a point, wanted to keep things to himself.

Tanuj and Sunny had a palpable chemistry in the movie, One Night Stand. The sizzling chemistry of the duo was seen in the song, Ijazat. When asked if he thought his career would take a high note due to Sunny Leone, he shared that he was not confident, as his films were not doing well. Tanuj did One Night Stand as other options were of 'hero ka bhai', 'heroine ka dost', and he did not want to do. In the words of Tanuj:

"One Night Stand dealt with mature themes like adultery in two sets of marriages. Our director was a woman. We escaped the male gaze and focused from a woman's point of view, which was a refreshing take. I do feel the film was ahead of its time. Theek thak bani thi. I was just happy to be back in front of the camera. There was a prolonged break between Purani jeans, and I was sitting at home for 7-8 months. I wanted to be on a film set, and One Night Stand gave me the opportunity to do so. I was grateful to be back on sets and not thinking way too ahead."
