Tanushree Dutta is one of the famous actresses in the Hindi film industry. She was seen in several movies, such as Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Bhagam Bhag, and Dhol. Well, the actress caused shockwaves back in 2018 when she accused Nana Patekar of sexually assaulting her. Although, the actor dismissed the claims, Tanushree, time and again, has taken jibes at him openly. Yet the same thing happened again as she talked about the Hema Committee report.
In a recent interview with News18, Tanushree Dutta criticised the Hema Committe's report and tagged it as 'baseless'. The actress shared that there is no point in such reports, as what needed to be done was for the accused to get caught and a new law and order system to be enforced. She also revealed listening to the Vishakha Committee and mentioned that the names of such committees just continue to change and nothing much happens. Tanushree added:
"What’s the point of this new report anyway? All they had to do was arrest the accused and enforce a strong law and order system. I remember hearing about the Vishakha Committee, which came up with so many guidelines and prepared pages and pages of reports, but what happened after that? The names of the committees just keep changing."

For the unversed, Justice K Hema Committee was a response to the Women In Cinema Collective, and it was organised back in 2017 after a Malayalam actress was sexually assaulted. Actor, Dileep was one of the accused. Well, talking about the same, Tanushree took a jibe at Dlieep and Nana Patekar and called them 'narcissistic psychopaths'. The actress stated that there's no cure for such men who have done some things that can only be committed by some vicious and vengeful men. She further added that she doesn't at all care about all these Committees. Tanushree can be quoted as saying:
"People like Nana and Dileep are narcissistic psychopaths. There’s no cure for them. Only a vicious and vengeful man can do what they did. I don’t care about these committees. I have no trust in this system. It feels like with these reports and committees, they’re just wasting our time rather than doing the real work. Having a safe workplace is a basic right for a woman — or any human being, for that matter.”
Nana Patekar dismissed all of Tanushree Dutta's claims and called the actress a liar. Reacting to the same, in an interview with Zoom, Tanushree called the actor a liar and revealed the incident when he slapped a boy from Varanasi. The actress shared that he first slapped the boy and made it look like a part of shooting, and then he apologised. Tanushree further added what she had been through for the last six years and mentioned how Dimple Kapadia once called Nana Patekar obnoxious. Tanushree also shared that misbehaviour with women is not a big deal for Nana Patekar as he is famous for hitting the directors as well.
