Drishyam 2 fame, Ishita Dutta and her husband, Vatsal Sheth are on cloud nine currently. The duo embraced parenthood for the first time on July 19, 2023, with the arrival of their son. Their happy news has elated their entire fanbase, who kept a close update on Ishita’s pregnancy journey through the glimpses that she shared on her social media handle. Well, the newbie parents are overjoyed with this new addition to their family, it seems that Ishita’s darling sister and the newbie maasi, Tanushree Dutta has something more to say about it.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Tanushree Dutta shared her excitement on becoming a maasi to her sister, Ishita’s newborn son. Moreover, she also expressed her exulted happiness, as her previous intuition about her sister having a son actually came true. For the unversed, in one of her previous interviews with ETimes, Tanushree had spoken about how she had an intuition about Ishita being pregnant way ahead of her announcing the same. Moreover, she had revealed that it was her gut instinct that told her that Ishita and Vatsal would have a son. And now, as things have finally come true, the doting maasi said:
“Didn't I tell you that my sister Ishita will get a son? My intuition has proved right. I was sure from Day 1 that it will be a baby boy."

Earlier, Tanushree Dutta, in an interview with ETimes had highlighted her excitement over her sister, Ishita’s pregnancy journey. She mentioned that she had an intuition quite early on about her sister’s good news, by just looking at one of her pictures, even before the latter knew it herself. Moreover, she also revealed that she guessed it would be a son. Tanushree had mentioned:
“Actually I called her much after I saw that picture. She said that she was shocked that I could guess it. She said that she herself didn't know about her pregnancy when the picture was taken. I have a gut feeling, an intuition that it will be a boy."
On July 20, 2023, Vatsal Sheth had dropped the first-ever picture of his wifey, Ishita Dutta and their newborn son, straight from the hospital bed. The picture featured the newbie mom, Ishita resting on the bed with her son, cutely wrapped in a swaddle. Vatsal, on the other hand, was seen hugging both his wifey and son. Along with it, he penned a small caption as he announced getting blessed with a son.

On July 21, 2023, Ishita got discharged from the hospital and was spotted with Vatsal and their son right outside the hospital. While Ishita looked happy in a lilac-hued frock-suit, which she teamed with white-hued pants. On the other hand, Vatsal was seen carrying their newborn baby boy in a printed swaddle. The happy parents flaunted their bright smiles for the onlooking shutterbugs.
