Tanya Mittal Breaks Down On 'Bigg Boss 19' Making Housemates Emotional, 'My Father Used To Beat...'

Salman Khan's hosted show, Bigg Boss, has never failed to entertain the audience with its drama. The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 is nothing less than a high-voltage drama. It also contained elements of deep emotions, where Tanya Mittal opened up about her dark, traumatic past and broke down in tears. A kitchen fight between Kunickaa Sadanand and Tanya led to the emotional scene. However, the housemates came together to console Tanya, while Kunickaa stood adamant. She reiterated that Tanya’s upbringing was not well.

The kitchen clash began when Tanya was cutting bhindi and found an insect. She reacted to it with extreme disgust. This prompted Bigg Boss 19’s ex-captain, Kunickaa, to mock her, saying, "Thoda aur kitchen mein rahogi toh bahut kuch seekhogi." Tanya immediately snapped back, questioning Kunickaa’s statement, saying, "Saara aapka women empowerment rasoi se kyun chalu hota hai bhai?"

Further, she took a dig and sarcastically said, "Khaana banana nahi aata toh tumhari mummy ne sanskaar nahi diye?" The fight soon turned into a heated argument as Kunickaa accused Tanya of demeaning others. In response, Tanya gave a warning, "Aaye nominations, phir batati hoon tabiyat se." Later, the former captain told Baseer Ali that she didn’t want Tanya in the kitchen and even swore to never speak to her again.

Kunickaa Sadanand’s harsh comment made Tanya Mittal teary-eyed

The fight in the kitchen took an ugly turn, when Kunickaa was paired with Tanya, during the nomination task. The former captain personally attacked Tanya, saying, "Your mother didn’t even teach you basic manners." The comment deeply hurt Tanya, and she broke down in tears. She expressed that her mom is everything to her. She mentioned how difficult it was for her to establish herself. In her words:

"My mother is everything. Mera mumma meri bhagwaan hai. She cannot bring up my mother in the task. Main bahut mushkil se yahan tak pahunchi hu."

Tanya's heartfelt confession made the housemates emotional, except Kunickaa. They tried to console Tanya as she sobbed. In fact, Gaurav Khanna slammed Kunickaa for her insensitive statement, saying, "You may be an enemy, but don’t stoop this low. I am sorry you are in this show. You are atrociously wrong." While the entire house came in support of Tanya, Kunickaa stood adamant. Reiterating what she said earlier during the task, Kunickaa said:

"Meri marzi. I will again reiterate that she has not been taught properly how to behave or how to live in circumstances apart from wearing jewellery and sarees."

Tanya Mittal reveals her dark and traumatic past

Soon after the emotional breakdown, Tanya recalled her past, which was both dark and traumatic. She revealed that her father used to beat her, while her mother tried to protect her. She shared that she had to go through a lot before starting her business. She recalled how she was almost married off when she was 19. She was quoted as saying:

"My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me. Bahut mushkil se business shuru kiya hai maine, permission mila saree pehen ne ki, bahar nikalne ki. I was 19 when I was almost going to get married off to, I wanted to di*".
