'Bigg Boss 19' Fame Tanya Mittal Unfollows Co-Contestant, Neelam Giri, 'She Called Me Fake And Liar'

Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 19, might have ended, but the controversies, arguments, and drama have not ended. Bigg Boss 19 grand finale saw Pranit More, Gaurav Khanna, Tanya Mittal, Amaal Mallik, and Farrhana Bhatt competing. Tanya has been one of the most talked-about contestants in the Bigg Boss 19 house. However, Tanya has recently revealed that she has unfollowed her friend, Neelam Giri, and also shared the reason behind the same.

Tanya Mittal reveals why she unfollowed Neelam Giri

Tanya Mittal became the third runner-up of Bigg Boss 19. Tanya revealed of why she unfollowed her friend, Neelam Giri. She hinted at cutting off ties with the Bhojpuri actress and even unfollowed her on social media. Tanya had visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek the blessings of Ganpati Bappa. When she came out, she met the paps, gave them gifts. She revealed to the paps of unfollowing Neelam, after the latter called her a 'liar' and 'fake'. Tanya quipped:

"I unfollowed her (Neelam) on social media. After coming out, I saw some clips from her interview in which she called me ‘fake’ and ‘a liar’. I didn’t like her views about me. I had trusted her a lot and shared a lot of things with her. But she betrayed my trust. If she is calling herself my friend, she shouldn’t have passed such remarks about me."

At one end, contestants Abhishek Bajaj and Pranit More were in the news for their rift. Now, Tanya, after exiting Bigg Boss 19, commented on her bond with Neelam after the show. Tanya was upset with the actions of Neelam and called herself a 'lone warrior'. She became famous after her stint in Bigg Boss 19, and her rising fame has also given her a project with Ektaa Kapoor.

Neelam Giri had supported Tanya Mittal in Bigg Boss 19 house

For those who do not know, Tanya had a very strong bond with Neelam in the Bigg Boss 19 house, and both of them were almost inseparable. However, Tanya and Neelam's relationship got strained in the Bigg Boss 19 house post Tanya became good friends with Farrhana Bhatt, who had torn Neelam's letter during one of the tasks. Neelam, on the other hand, like a loyal friend, had shown a lot of support to Tanya and was always cheering for her to win the trophy.

After the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19 took place, fans who loved the friendship of Tanya and Neelam thought that they would reunite, but then were surprised to know that both had unfollowed one another. Inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, apart from Farrhana and Neelam, Tanya was also friends with Kunickaa Sadanand. On the other hand, Tanya had many major fights with Malti Chahar, Farrhana Bhatt, Nehal Chudasama, Amaal Mallik, Pranit More, Gaurav Khanna, and many more.

Neelam Giri had called Tanya Mittal 'two faced'

In an earlier clip, shared by the makers of Bigg Boss 19, Neelam was seen questioning Tanya's two-faced nature. She had said that she did not like how Neelam was doing doglapan. Neelam felt that there had been a crack in her and Tanya's friendship. For the unversed, it was on December 7, 2025, when the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19 concluded. Gaurav Khanna was declared the winner of the show, while Pranit More became the first runner-up.
